I know! He looks like a linebacker. He must have really dense, heavy core. He doesn't look close to 325. He's insane! Maybe he can be an edge rusher on third down? Haha.

Yea Ngata already gets moved around alot, now he should be moved around even more. He's gonna be a terror for lineman this year. And if he's ever able to get a free rush at the QB or is matched up with a RB, somebody's in trouble.

Warning, the story is by "Reporter" Mike Preston. Did anyone notice that Ngata never actually said how much weight he lost?
Ngata said he is 325 on NFL Network Top 100 Sunday... as a guest

He'd need to avergae about 3.125 sacks a game, I dont think thats out of his capabilities! haha.

Ngata definitely had his segment when the episode aired. For some reason, it isn't on NFL.com though.

Think of it like this, hes probably burned off 25lbs of fat. Samoans are very very and i stress insanely strong. Its in their blood. However, with the great strength, some of them get fat. Im thinking Ngata has leaned out and got rid of 25lbs of fat. 325lbs of lean muscle mass is more scary to me.

I believe that it was MJD. He described Ngata as having catlike quickness.

These guys were in awe. No, I'm not exaggerating - they pulled up a clip of him pushing off his left foot inn pursuit of a back in a zone blitz, and the room exploded.

This isn't the top 100 video, but it was all I could find.

And if he's QUICKER? He'll be in the backfield before the offensive linemen come out of their stance.

As crazy as it sounds, when I saw Ngata last year after the M&T practice he doesn't have much fat on him! So if he did lose 25lbs of fat, l would hate to be on offense!

when he really lost 25 pounds we should let him play strong safety next to ed lol

i don´t think that the losing of those pounds could hurt his play...

he lost body fat...prolly has better cardio-vasulcar endurance. it's like a body builder...he was bulked up so he gained fat along with the muscle. he cut weight and prolly has better abs as well. i'm sure he can move better as well and since he's aggressive he doesn't need the 25lbs of cushion for protection. He lost visceral fat internally so he is prolly super engergetic right now with low cholesterol and all that!

You have to factor in how a defensive lineman uses their weight, for example a 350lb NT with 25% bodyfat has a lean weight of 260lb, which is practically identical to a 285 DE with 10% bodyfat, but even if the DE is in better shape and/or stronger he can't anchor a 3-4. You need that anchor to play two gaps.

Does anyone have a link of Ngatas reaction of top 100 players?
NFL.com has started filling in some of the ones that they've missed starting at the top. So hopefully we'll see his soon
