Herm Edward's Top 5 Defensive Plays

10 posts in this topic

Anyone see ESPN sports center. Herm had a segment top defensive plays last year.
What a joke. NO RAVENS. The Texan game -pick 6 to win in overtime didnt make the cut.

Palomalu's strip sack was #1. Herm said "get rid of the ball young man". LOL. Guess Herm believes a QB should get rid of the ball prior to his 3 step drop. I can see why his phone is not ringing off the hook for coaching vacancies.

Ryan's pick 6 before half against the Pack, should have been #1 (instead #3) cause that was in the playoffs and completely opened the flood gates for lopsided victory. IMHO But the Natty Ice Network would never allow that.

Every time I watch him on TV, I feel a little embarrassed for him. It's like he's a spaz and half the time he can't remember a name

They also did a "top finishes of 2010" and the walk-off pick-six was no where to be seen. ESPN just doesn't like us. Doesn't matter to me, though, I get NFLN, too.

seriously...lol.. you just want to complain now... lol.. I dont care if my QB is #1 or #5 ... Its bad to be on this list.... There is no winner on this list if you are a QB...lol.. It doesnt matter where you are on this list..They had 2 plays on there where Matt Ryan screwed up so how it it "But the Natty Ice Network would never allow that" ... His 2 biggest bonehead plays

oh give me a break. i seriously doubt Herm didn't include that play cause the Ravens get "no love". There were 5 others better than it. And that one strip sack decided the division. plain and simple.

Come on guys. Take it easy on Herm. He revealed to us crucial football philosophies such as the one in the video below.

I know it was week 1 but Ray Lewis' hit on Keller was a monster play that sealed that game and set the tone for the D all season.

Wait......you guys actually wanna see highlights from that Texans game.....

No. Just the defensive play to end the game. It was about Top Defensive "Plays" not game. I totally want to forget that game, making Matt Schaub look all-world as he goes nuts at the end of the game.

As far as the Strip sack, no one is saying that the play wasnt deserving of a top 5 nod. Just questioning the selection of which top 5 defensive plays and its order, like a punt block by the Pats to allow them to help win the game (deserving of a top 5 nod?) or ranking a the Division game play compared to a playoff game.
