Adam "Pacman" Jones has been cleared to play for the Dallas Cowboys this season.

The cornerback-kick returner was suspended all last season, when he was with the Tennessee Titans, because of an accumulation of arrests and legal problems. He was traded to the Cowboys in April, then allowed in June by commissioner Roger Goodell to join the team in training camp and in preseason games.

Ugh...well, I guess this is finally his last chance.

If he messes up again and is still allowed to play, then I've lost all hope in the Commissioner cleaning the league up.

Reinstating Chris Henry was already bad enough, but Pacman? If Odell Thurman is next, then I guess we can expect to see Rae Carruth in the league after he finishes his prison term...

He was a receiver drafted in the first round by the Carolina Panthers, who showed promise at one point, but then threw it all away when he was involved in a drive-by shooting targeting the mother of his then-unborn child when she was 8 months pregnant.

He did it so he wouldn't have to pay child support.

The woman died, but the child miraculously survived and was birthed with a C-section after the mother fell into a coma. The kid has cerebral palsy as a result of being born prematurely.

Carruth was found hiding in the trunk of a car with a cell phone, cash, clothes, junk food, and a stale jar of piss when police went looking for him shortly after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was sentenced to 18 to 24 years in prison.
