Is it just me or should next years draft be LB/S/LB. The only reason I say a second LB is the fct that kindle is an unknown, JJ just isnt what he used to be (still productive in coverage though) And suggs could use the help big time to alleviate that large workload, or do we ahve more glaring needs.

as far as needs go, I'd say next year's draft should be DE - ILB - C

but let's see what free agency has in store for us first.,,,,

Do you mean a 5-technique DE or a DE to convert to OLB?

I've been dying to see us add a guy who can play next to Ngata. Our DL is the main reason our pass rush has sucked it up and why our run defense has slipped a notch over the last couple years.

This is what makes Suggs such a great 3-4 OLB he can do everything, he has the 2nd most sacks in Ravens history, 2 Ints returned for TDs, and can stuff the run, plus a great character as well

i want to see arthur jones play. In terms of measurables he's very similar to muhammad wilkerson, just 2 inches shorter and a little leaner. I feel like we'll know if he and pernell mcphee can start.

I would say I'm hoping for ILB, Safety our Center. I'm not really a 1st round O line guy unless he's a stud. A dark horse could be a 1 wr. I don't know if we have a roddy white on our team even though our Wide outs are pretty solid.

dark horse picks are always fun to speculate on...I think our dark horse pick (a position we could likely address in the first 2 rounds) is at safety.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I wouldn't say safety is a dark horse candidate. That's clearly something we could use.

true, I keep operating under the assumption that we will bring Landry back. Assuming we did, I dont think safety is an immediate need, but it would be a luxury pick that we would indulge in if certain prospects declare/play as expected.,,,,

I almost want to pull a saints and pick up 2 first rounders. I don't really like that idea usually, but I want Ray and Ed to groom their replacements.

I could definitely get on board with that, Te'o and Armstrong would be ideal or maybe lester from Alabama.

Agreed, but Ozzie would have to be totally sold on those guys as blue chip players. Not only does it make us a better team now, but it allows Ed and Ray to mentor them them.

Like when the packers traded up for clay matthews I thought it was a bad trade...

I was wrong.
