Ready For The Opener?

One possotive you could get from all these pesty injuries is a good amount of vets are coming back for the Opener. Todd Heap says he's 100% this time around and anticapates a big year! The O-Line is finally intact(we'll see how they perform together tonight). Dan Wilcox seems to be fighting through his foot injury and we REALLY need him to overcome that since he's being thrown into the flames right now. Coach Harbaugh stated that he is confident Kelly Gregg will be ready come Sept. 7th. I'm ready to hear the news that our secondary is primed and ready to come in and battle day 1. Also Demetrius Williams will play tonight as will M. Douglas. WHAT TIME IS IT?

Oh man I'm pumped another Ravens season begins and I'm excited regardless. I hope we can pull out a win and its great to hear all those people coming back. Hopefully ED REED will come back too

Yeah D Will, I hope he shines tonight. THe Flacco/Williams combo has some great field stretching potential. Mason can't catch every ball, so I hope he can show his talent tonight, and I hope Harper, Smith, and Wheelwright can shw something too. Only one or two of them will make the final roster so now is the time boys.

I hope Gaither can show that maybe he learned SOMETHING while he missed all of training camp...

I wanna see our backup tight ends perform.

I'd like to see Dan Wilcox have a great game too because he gives his all when he is on the field. The problem is he does seem to still be struggling a bit while Bergen (though not outstanding but consistent in the preseason) to me seems to have pushed himself up into that 2nd string TE position. I hope Edgar Jones can make his case for making the roster tonight too, I think it's between him and Wilcox for the 3rd TE spot on our roster.

I would love to see David Pittman/Anwar Phillips/Ronnie Prude and especially Derrick Martin (if he is healthy yet) have a huge game and shove Frank Walker out of that backup CB spot. Hell, I'd even love to see Frank Walker prove me wrong and play lights out, don't see that happening though...

It's just nice to know that we start the season 0-0 . Right now the possiblitlies are endless. Let's start w/ a game 1 win.

Our secondary will have to be way up for this game but I think our chances are good. I gotta believe Palmer is goning to be a little gun shy of getting hit and that will play in our favor if we can get pressure on him. We need some redemption !!
