Duke Nukem Forever

Has anyone gotten this yet? It's getting horrible reviews, was just wondering if it's really that bad. 14 years in the making, it certainly should be a great game.

it plays like an old school game. If you like old school Duke Nukem to this day, it will probably be enjoyable to you. I like it and think some critics were alittle too hard on it. But I think that is because it was in production for so long. It's not a top FPS, but it is an enjoyable one imo.

its great. Kinda mad at the way the game has been treated by review sites. Most of the reviews have "compared to modern shooters" somewhere in the review. Facepalm.. they dont understand duke. and of course, most 13 year old cod kids have no idea what duke nukem is

Thanks guys. That's exactly what I was expecting to hear. I thought the first Duke was awesome, I'm sure I'll like this one too.

Duke Nukem 3D was actually the third Duke game. The first two were side-scrolling shooters.
