Secret Meetings In Md

I know where the meetings are going on today BUT I've been sworn to secrecy.

I'm so bummed I wish I could break the news to you guys. It's good that they are doing it in secret because they are probably getting work done.

I put this in Ravens talk because this has to do with Maryland, ESPN says they know it's in MD but don't know where ahaha, and you know I was dying to pick up the phone and get on mike and mike in the morning or something

I know 100% where they are.....it feels good to be in the know. Let me tell you what, this could be the weekend it gets done. They location is perfect for a stay over of a couple nights and a celebration if needed PLEASE please please

Well if you can't tell us, have you at least seen the Lawyers leave unhappy because they were being kicked out. I just updated the Lockout Thread in the Other Teams section about that and how the Lawyers were kicked out of the negotiations.

They aren't in Ocean City...if these meetings are serious and it seems like they are considering where they are taking place, they have lodging to stay for a few days if they wish, catering services, etc.

Then you are hearing all these reports saying how close they are, putting this together with what I know it seems like this lockout could be over soon!!!! YAY!!

Sorry not trying to play games on where they are or anything I was just excited to hear where they were....I can't tell you where now but maybe once the meetings are done OR they could release it to the media in time.

You're so far off, I cant tell you but think relaxing environment not some busy town or city...

I think a CBA will be done by the weekend? Maybe next week or so..unless something goes horribly wrong at these meetings and they all are mad drunks.

You should just go find the place they are at, somehow barricade the door so they won't be able to leave and say that you won't let them out until a new deal is reached.

I wonder if they're really in some small, unknown town in middle of nowhere MD or in the OC area. Also, I heard according to ESPN that talks almost "blew up" today. At least one ESPN source said so anyway.

I have an update!! They make specials orders on stuff they want there like M&Ms, FIGI water, etc

I have a list of players....Jeff Saturday was there, Dominique Foxworth was there, Brew Brees I think was there, he chose to go under Drew 3, Kevin Mawai (sp), Brian Waters, and some other names I can't make out. Brian Dawkins....thats just for the players side I guess, not sure who is there for Owners? Maybe Steve is there?

They are still there, they are staying over night, and may leave sometime in the morning!!!

If I find out anything more I'll let you know.

They did say they tried staying at a Hyatt but they told the radio and they left there immediately.

I think I can tell you that its on the eastern shore but it IS NOT Ocean City or any beaches of any kind....I'm not saying more than that, don't want to get anyone fired.

Haha a few more things, they are staying in the lodges I just stayed at recently, how freaking weird is that? What a coincidence. Thats an update more for me than you guys, I just think thats crazy...

Also, they could come back to MD for more talks later if needed? IDK about that, they probably go around everywhere, unless they really enjoyed the service...and the nice view, the landscape, etc

Now I'm hearing the owners and their security teams left late tonight, don't know if they are coming back tomorrow or not. Some of the players stuck around and are staying overnight, don't know if they are done talks for now or what.

But I heard the players were joking around with the staff and stuff so that's good, right?

I was told not to tell anyone, plus I didn't want the news to get out, the media would have flocked to the place they were at, that's what happened at the Hyatt hotel they were at first, an employee called it into radio and they had to leave. So I'd rather let them secretly meet together and maybe get closer to working this CBA out than confess what I know and potentially screw them up...and get someone in trouble who works there.

When its over I'll tell you where they were, but they also said they might come back at a later time for more talks so I don't know.

I guess the actual location of the meetings is secret... but I think it's ok to reveal where they were now.
