Preseason 4: Atlanta Falcons At Baltimore Ravens

179 posts in this topic

Ray Rice has added to his impressive pre-season and has really shown that he belongs in this league and will only compliment McGahee when he gets healthy. It looks like we better go after a great QB to add to the Offense along with Flacco and Rice for the future.

so far looking good for Flacco, hes now the only QB out of 4QB's that have not thrown a interception. if they dont start him this season, im gonna snap lol

Thank the penalty for 3rd and short.

yeah a 2yd run and a 1 yd pass was making a 3 and out look quite possible, effectively negating leonhard's work...timeout, let's hope we can get 2 lousy yards.

I don't understand how we're letting this Snelling kid run 10 yards each time he gets a carry...I know it's 2nd stringers in there but damn.

A win would have been nice to end the preseason, but I can live with a 1-point loss vs a 21-point loss.

So, after watching the Joe Flacco highlights from NFL Network (posted on BR.com's main page), I noticed something: he always keeps his feet moving, just like Peyton Manning does.

Manning NEVER, under any circumstances, stops his feet from moving after his dropback; I remember him mentioning this as a key part of his mechanics, and that always stood out in my mind.

To see Flacco copy that part of his mechanics impresses me greatly, as it translated into much more poise out on the field. His passes were delivered smoothly, and his rocket arm was on full display as he seemingly flicked his wrist on a lot of those passes.

His delivery is much quicker than the first two games, showing that he is making quicker reads, and I'm impressed by the fact that he didn't panic when the pocket collapsed around him and he had pressure in his face or closing in from behind.

Call it a snap judgment or an emotional proclamation, but I'm sold on #5.

Well at least this is pre season :). I guess the positive is that we beat the Patriots record and Browns record in pre season. I will have plenty of beers for this season, and hope the best for the Ravens!

I can't wait to see Reed and Mcgahee on the field too. Those are the difference makers on our team, defense and offense.

I'm predicting a nice 7-9 record this year for us.

I think we keep Leonhard, Zibroski, and Nakamura

Zibroski sounds like a bad college nickname. Zbikowski is his real name.
