I'm still torn on Cutler. Part of me says if he can't play, he can't play. However, I always think back to some of the NFLs greats and how they would lay down to no injury whatsoever. And maybe I missed something, but I am not sure whether or not Cutler actually tried to get back on the field and was ordered not to. How does Theismann know? Again, maybe I missed something.

People say he isn't the main problem on the offense and that they need weapons. I agree completely, however, I feel like Knox and Olsen are underrated. Knox is not a true #1 WR, but he's only entering his third year and averaged 18.8 ypc last season. Olsen, meanwhile, is a threat over the middle and works deep routes much better than most TEs in the game. They do need a true #1 receiver for certain, but I feel like people fail to give these guys in Chicago ANY credit.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts on Theismann's defense of Cutler?

I do feel sorry for Britt since I believe these charges are pretty harsh.
