Purple Punishment

Lock Out

In regards to the lock out, I was wondering

1. If the players and rookies that have not received playbooks are allowed to receive copies from players that did receive them

2. How are players drafted by teams allowed to show up for press conferences with team owners and coaches but cannot be coached by them? If they are not signed to the team, technically, they arent subject to a lockout for contractual NFL players. However, they are not allowed to be around coaches or team facilities.

I mean, if Steve Biscotti wanted to open his doors to Torrey Smith or Jimmy Smith, couldnt he? They arent NFL players. Anyways, those are a couple questions I have pondered over the past few days

I am basically asking if draftees that are not signed to a team as of yet are allowed to come into the team facilities? They are not under any form of contract making them an NFL player so what is stopping them from entering the facility? Or the owners from opening their doors to these draftees?
