MW3

I wish I could buy it but everytime I buy a COD game, this process occur:

1. Buy it and enjoy it the first couple of weeks.

2. Still enjoying it, but the exploits that people find start to annoy me and the game starts to bore me on top of that.

3. After the first month and a half, I find myself completely bored with it.

4. I sell it.

I just hate games that do copy and paste jobs more than they try to innovate.

I like COD, dont get me wrong, but after i beat the campaign in a day, and play multiplayer for a week and prestige, i just get bored and rarely play. It gets boring pretty fast. I'm not sure i'll buy MW3, but i'll rent it eventually.

I like it more than I thought I would. It all feels fresh and the maps do feel varied. They are varied enough for me to lose every now and then, so I like that. Winning at Black Ops often got boring, believe it or not.

I love the new perks, game modes, and weapons so far. If only I can get Call of Duty Elite to stop freezing when I kick it on [img]http://content.boards.baltimoreravens.com//public/style_emoticons/default/eyes.gif[/img]

I got it for PS3. I haven't had as many problems with matchmaking like I thought I would.

I mostly play by myself even though some of y'all keep sending me party requests. ONE-MAN ARMY, SON! (But not that great lol)

Havent played it yet but i know of a dozen or so friends that are taking it back.. Saying thr maps are terrible with too many camping holes

Thats funny, cause all my friends love the game xD. Camping happens in EVERY game, idk why people seem to only associate that with CoD

people associate it with cod cause everyone does it.... there is no shooter even close to cod when it comes to camping.. thats a fact.

at the end of the day.. its still a great game and the only shooter i'd take over it is BF3

Fact? Data points more towards Counter Strike, but I see your point. It does happen in Call of Battlefield often.

Funny, I seem to flush out those camping holes pretty easily...and I'm usually pretty bad at FPS games. I think I finally got over the hump, though, because I've learned the maps very quickly and I learn from my mistakes much faster than before.

I personally love Mw3, but the only problems I have is people eating my bullets then somehow killing me in a blink of the eye. Also, I think it is annoying on how many people snipe in multiplayer.

Franny just dont want to play with me lol. For Kill confirmed i was ranked like 129 then i stopped playing. I think im still in the top 300. I love the new game because its goin to release new maps every month so you wont get bored of the same maps plus with elite you get so much more then just the game.

I hope the new maps are better. I had my usual honeymoon phase where I loved it but now I'm getting frustrated. The maps are WAY too intricate. Even being careful I am getting tired of being shot it the back. With 4 or 5 different angles an enemy can attack you it's impossible to check every corner. Even with a silencer and assassin pro I'm lucky if I can finish off one guy before another knifes me in the back.

The maps and new modes like Kill Confirmed really encourage teamwork which is fine, but I prefer to play by myself. I previous COD's most people played that way. Now most people run in packs. When you factor in the terrible lag/poor connections and the poor voice chat the game can be unplayable at time. The technical issues I expect will be fixed eventually like they have been in previous COD's but the maps are what they are. I can only hope I'll get more used to them. In the mean time I may have to just play FFA.

The maps are a bit to intricate, I'll agree. There are so many paths to get from on side to another, which is good for Search, but not so much for my favorite, FFA.

Ranking up is much faster in this one i've noticed. I've logged in about 24 hours of play, and I'm already at 1st Prestige level 24.

I actually prefer the increased emphasis on teamwork in MW3. I've had no problem with people running in packs, especially when I attack them smart or run with someone else for backup. The only gripe I've had recently has been idiots noob-tubing to give their team an early advantage; by the time my team figures out how to neutralize it, we're already in a hole. Noob-tubing has been a problem in every installment but I'd like for them to nerf the effect of grenade launchers even further.

I like the intricate maps. I haven't been knifed nearly as often as years past and I don't get killed from behind that often. Maybe it's because I've gotten more aggressive and know where people like to hide, IDK.

i love the game and agree with yall on the maps which is a good in bad thing but i actually dont like the maps they dont give me the same feel other cods had the maps are the only thing i dont like about mw3 everything else i like ..

i really hate this game compared to black ops. maps are all huge and way to hard to learn lol. this game is determined by who sees who first because even if im shooting someone in the head they kill me while shooting me in the leg.. i hate it

I agree with you that Black Ops was more enjoyable. Even there, when people got frustrated, they said the game was terrible and they were going back to MW2. It's about being flexible to like each new iteration. When someone says each one is just like the other isn't seeing the depth of it.

I'm not saying this is you, but I have friends who swear they got a clean headshot, but then going into theater mode, they are just plain sloppy players. It's pretty funny.

Ultimately, there is no reason to keep playing a game, besides actually having fun playing it.

It is very similar. Could have been a giant DLC for MW2 really. Where it really seperates itself from MW2 is how it all flows. Playing one style in MW2 successfully can get you destroyed in MW3.

Was it worth the 60 bucks? Sure, why not? But it would have been a great 30 dollar DLC.

I'm addicted to stalker pro. I've never been much of a fan of sub machine guns so I'm used to moving at a snails pace when looking down the sight. My k/d is more than a half point higher than MW2 and I think stalker pro has a lot to do with it. It is so easy to check corners now with assault rifles.

I'm experimenting with Stalker Pro and it hasn't dramatically improved my K/D ratio. I think I just need to adapt my play style to fit the perk before it really does anything for me.

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys do once you reach prestige level? I personally have decided not to prestige this year at all, and instead try to reach gold camo for every gun. I think that will be more challenging than anything else.
