Madden 12 Franchise Mode

ok I restarted my franchise and guess what now the game has litteraly made it so dificult on Pro it mine as well be All madden, boldin now seems like a tortis , they must have taken codys stats down cause he is not pushing a pile at all , redding mine as well be made of lead .

Really? I didn't think they were supposed to have changed the tuner settings though?

The same thing is happening to me I hate it so I have had to take a break and work on my Ultimate Team.

just won this game on ebay, some doofus put a new sealed ps3 copy without a reserve for 24 hours, no one bid, so i grabbed it for 10 bucks, lol

my question is, are the rosters updated now when you sign online?

Just curious... why do people buy the new Madden game every year? Can't the previous versions have the rosters updated online? Is it the online play that makes it worthwhile?

2 interceptions.

This game reminds me of NBA 2K11 in the football version. Everything is turned over.

Anyone have advice?

Alter the sliders or lower the difficulty. It's probably just an out lying game.

honestly I agree with tre I think EA botched up this game and they either fix it or I am getting my money back by claiming the game is bugged and I deserve a refund for them releasing a Flawed Product aka Pa's Lemon Product law

One thing I find extremely annoying is that at the end of the season, I'll re-sign players that I want to keep (I re-signed McClain and Ellerbe) and then continue onto the FA bidding part. The thing is, I often find players that I re-signed in the bidding system. Both McClain and Ellerbe were free agents.

Anyone got any clue why this is?

Oh don't get me started on the fact they took out the "One More Year" and the others you could use to keep players from retiring that you could buy from the Madden Shop. I always used that on Ray Lewis for like 2-3 seasons than I would let him retire lol on Madden 11.

I figured out the draft, when you go to the prospects list you can still sort the potential stat from high to low even when they're all question marks, write them down in order and save the game. Then scout until you find the first A potential player, everyone above will be an A, one thing to note is if you actually scout a player with an A rating he will be drafted by the game AI long before his projected round.

I found out that if you switch the "re-sign players" to "user" rather than "CPU" then it doesn't happen. You have to make sure you've signed everyone you want to keep though otherwise they are gone.

Ray and Ricky always retire after one season, the retirement years are fixed.

Yeah, thats why you have to scout to find out which guys are A's then restart. Scout some random guys to throw the AI off then try and take your guys early in the round or late in the round before their projected round.

Very sly... I've already been scouting a load of players at individual workout stage (having saved just before) then quitting and starting up again to find out the overall of some other players. There are so many bad players that I've scouted, most are 40, 50 overall with F potential. Obviously your 'sort by potential' trick means you get less poor potential players, but before you said it I had a real knack for scouting bad players.

Is there any way to stop the clock from running off all the time. Its really quite annoying. Perhaps I am hitting too many buttons to get to the line faster?

I think you can switch the clock run off by going to My Madden, then settings, then game-play settings. I keep it on, but I'm sure it was in there.

I found it. It is in the main menu before you even select a game mode. Accelerated clock option is in there but it says "This option does not apply to Franchise mode." Ugh. That is so stupid that you can't change Accelerated clock on Franchise mode.

Wow... EA just broke the Player Editing System. I tried to edit Ratings but the only thing I see is the first menu that tells you the name, number, position, etc. There is no option to scroll through to edit the Ratings or anything else, just tried this in Franchise Mode(with the option to Edit Players ON) and outside of Franchise Mode. Something must have happened when they made the new roster because I never had an issue until I downloaded this roster update.

Well hasnt this happened in like the last 2-3 madden's? Ray retires after like the first year? I may be wrong, but i swore he did.

Nope, in madden 10 he retired after four years and in madden 11 he retired after three. I expected the trend to continue and for him to retire after two on this one but I was mistaken.
