I prefer to play the Ravens close in the first half, then crush them in the second.

And one other thing, Terrible Towels are gold and in some cases black; they are never white. If they have Ray Lewis' dance then they should show Heinz going nuts with the TT's waving.

I will like most of us here make a Ravens franchise but I will make a fantasy/import team, in Madden 11 I made a gooder with the 4 leaf clover logo (only good one) and used green and orange, like the old hurricanes jerseys..it actually looked good for once so I may make the same team, take all the players from one team and rebuild that way. Last time i took all of the Rams moved the team to Oregon called them the Sequoia. I hope they do a couple updates on that part, but if not I wont be mad.

I will do one fantasy draft with the Raiders more then likely, and prolly a 49ers franchise. At this point I really just buy for the rookies but this year looks like it may have alot more new features then previous however my expectations are very low with Madden recently.

I actually don't play the Ravens too much when I play Franchise mode in Madden games. I don't know, I watch the Ravens on TV and post every day about them on this board (during the season), there's something immersion-breaking to me about playing them in Madden. It's a very weird quirk of mine.

What I love to do in franchise mode is take a franchise in a weak position (one of the high 60s-70s OVR teams), and play as them. Makes the game challenging and more interesting, and makes it a lot less frustrating when I lose games, because I expect to. In fact, if I am winning a lot as one of these teams, that's how I know I need to raise the difficulty and adjust some AI sliders.

These franchises are a great way of gauging the difficulty settings in fact. In my mind, playing as the Browns or the Bills or a similar team, my seasons should go like this. First year I expect to win no more than 8 or 9 games, with most of those wins being real nail-biters in which I scrape by with a bit of luck. If I'm taking the Bills to the playoffs or a divisional win in their first year, the game is too easy. Then for the next year, after filling some spots and developing my young stars, I'm okay with winning a wildcard spot or winning a weak division like the NFC West or the AFC West. If I'm dominating with a 12, 13, or more win season then once again, game is too easy. If those criteria are met and the game is still at a satisfying challenging level, I'm more than happy to have that miracle wildcard playoff run where I win it all.

What I DON'T do is going out and fill my roster with 90+ OVR guys, or replace my young 70s QB with a free agent in the 80s. It defeats the purpose of franchise mode not to develop my own QB, my own RB, my own WRs. Sure I'll bring in a free agent WR to be my slot guy or my back-up RB, but I want to build up franchise players. Another thing that just adds another level of challenge and realism to the game, for me.

yea same here.. i always switch to 4-3 ... seems like the comp. is always screwing the dline when u run a 34 and ur lb's get nowhere

ok guys new news according to [url="http://www.operationsports.com/news/492403/madden-nfl-12-preview-destructoid/"]This opperations sports[/url] update , the Commentary in Franchise is VASTLY improved , there will be comments going from Week 1 into week 2 talking about Team and player progression as the season goes on . This is what I have wanted and honestly its the one MAJOR item from ESPN 2K5 I wanted in Madden for a Long time . Also the Collison and zone seems to be spot on and all madden is no longer broken .

Seahawks are looking promising. Marshawn Lynch running behind their remade O-line should be fun. That is, of course, assuming that you can run at all on Madden which you can never take for granted.

I think the Dolphins might be a good one as well. Maybe get this Orton trade pushed through, re-sign Ronnie and see if I could break the Pats-Jets (mostly Pats) hold on the AFC East.

Farrior will probably be on the steelers trading block again this year for about 5 seasons straight. Farrior and Bart Scott are the two MLB on madden 11 that sit on the trading block until their overall are below 80 lol or they're released.

Madden 12 is out..... and time to share how your Franchise is working. Just started a Miami Dolphins Franchise Mode, signed rookies Deunta Williams and Kris O'Dowd as Developmental prospects. I know the Dolphins drafted Pouncey but I'm moving him back to his college position, RG and will develop O'Dowd as my Center of the Future. I'm also going to turn their defense into a 4-3 Defense, and of course replace Chad Henne with someone else lol. Might trade for Matt Flynn or just wait to draft someone.
