Ravens New Uniforms Question

I have heard now from a few people on myspace mainly the Baltimore Ravens myspace page saying in a bulletin Mark Clayton attended a Madden 08 release and slipped with saying I cannot wait for our new uniforms and for the season to start. Anyone know of anything going on with this?

Very true, and even if they were to change something, it would probably only be minor. I would expect any type of drastic change for the reasons Berad said.

I've seen the quote a couple times...

You would think with the crazy rumors floating about someone in the know would either quash the rumors or at least give us all a "wait till you see them".

Darnit, I'm about to get my Scott jersey to add to the collection but if there are new ones coming...

The mod on ravens24x7 already got a text from clayton saying the ravens arent getting new uni's. Plus the ravens wouldnt "hide" the fact they got new uni's, they would announce it a while ago so everyone can go out and buy the new jerseys/hats/ etc. They wouldnt wait til opening day to reveal them, they'd lose all the $$$. The chargers, Giants, eagles (throwback), and steelers (throwback) all have new unis this year and were announced a few months ago (mar and april). Im sure its just a rumor.

OK, time to so try to find a Scott jersey in SoCal... And a new hat to go with it. Man it is hard to find Ravens stuff 3,500 miles away from Baltimore.

Black on a sunny Sunday afternoon gets hot for them to wear it all the time, even if its chilly out. (believe me, I've played in dark colors with that equipment on, its hot)

I think all night games should be black though, that would be great. (I know they cant do it though )

Everyone seem's to think I'm wrong and are backing it up so I guess I am.... But man I wish they did have new Uni's coming out how sweet that would be with McGahee starting in it as his first time as a Raven. But I guess I can only dream about new Uni's =/

Well these teams better hope it allows them to play better, because I think our uniforms and the guys in them are ready to really kick some serious a**!!! You can change colors all you want, but it can't change the motivation.

I agree but I'm just not a big purple kind of guy.. they look good on the player's but I guess because I only look good in certain color's and I am a very vein person so I hate wearing my purple Lewis jersey I will stick with my black stitched Ed Reed or white Heap.

I really do like the black uniforms. they seem more scary and intimidating to me. but, i deffinently don't think we'll be getting new uniforms. If we were don't you think they'd tell us so we can all spend our money to buy new uniforms? [and i like purple] ahah =]
