Madden 07 is silly...

I am playing a Franchise in Madden as the Ravens (of course), anyway I have gotten to the point where I just simulate throughout the season and mess with the off season, well every year they have the great players that just retire and go into the Hall of Fame... well..

I was reading the list and the first thing that caught my eye was Anthony Wright got to the hall of fame (thats funny on its own). Well looking down I see Ray Lewis and I didn't realize it at first but I am 30 seasons into the Franchise and Ray Lewis just retired. So what Ray Lewis and Anthony Wright were still playing in there 60's???

I laughed hard, and thought I would share it with you all.

I dont think players go into the hall as soon as they retire, there's a voting process, or at least thats how it works in real life.

I think troy aikman only went in this year/last year.He certainly wasn't playing last year.

I'm not sure how it works in the game, though.

You are correct, in Madden tho they have them go in right away.

It takes at least 5 years for the retired players to be voted in..

In real life maybe, but in Madden they have the players that were hall of fame worthy go in directly when they retire.

And even if there was a voting process in the game (which there isn't) those two would still be playing in there late 50's.

Yeah, They only brought in the hall of fame in 07 (in madden).Surely it cant be that hard to determine if a players stats are good enough to go into the HOF.

on 06 it annoyed me so much when ed reed retired with 400 picks and no recognition.

Yeah, I never did buy Madden 06, I heard there were way to many problems with it, and it was uncompleted.

I've been Watching DeShaun since he was at Tustin High and think you fail to recognize that he's a powerful back. Truth is, Madden is only BS because Deshaun doesn't get hurt after 2 or 3 carries....
