First of all, sorry to disappoint, I don't have any news on the case myself, I just wanted to make a place where it would be easy for me to find out what's going on with Kindle's court case. All I know is he's likely to plead guilty. (Link)

What kind of punishment will he get for his DUI from the judge? (I know very little about the US law structure). I expect him to receive a fine from the NFL and I guess he might get a ban being as this isn't his first ever DUI incident (even though this was his first as an NFL player.)

Think most first time DUIs come with a license suspension...as long as all it is was a DUI.

But Im Canadian lol

Depends on the magnitude (BAC level).

.15 is the magic number in MD...above it and it's a mandatory 90 days suspended or "blow and go". Below .15 and it depends on your attorney and how good he/she is, but most can get off with very little except fines and community service.

I believe Kindles was a .17, so he'll have the 90 or "blow and go" option.

Good that he's not going to jail. But he still needs to be rehabilitated in more ways than one... some mental and physical issues that need to be ironed out in that skull.

He got two years probation and has to stay in a self help program for a week.

I think this kid should take the bus, he is not better at walking down stairs then he is driving apparently. I hope he doesnt drive a step-side truck or we could lose him forever.

was .08 were i am from, then they changed it to zero tolerance, which was actually .02, so essentially u could have one beer or something and then not leave wherever u were for a couple hours haha, but now they are asking police to use their judgement on ppl who blow over .02, pretty much admitting the new laws r bogus

legal limit is still .08 here, but it becomes much more severe when you get above .15

Does this mean he will have some kind of suspension by the NFL as well?
With this DUI being his first as a pro, I doubt he gets suspended.

I can see a 1 or 2 game suspension since the league knows about his other DUI in college and the "Sleep walking stair story" sounds a bit fishy. I wouldn't say any more than 2 games.

Doesnt matter if they were all documented in college, the NFL can't take those into account they have no jurisdiction over a player in the college ranks.

LOL

Anyways, I just hope that Kindle's problems are over with and he's able to play football again. Anything he can do to help our pass rush would be great.
