I do not know how to follow the code of conduct.

ZOMG want to buy you a Capslock button. And thanks for the post that has nothing to do with QB's.

You know it's bad when a kicker is our all-time leading scorer, even if he has been here since '96. It's gotta be a co-all-time Raven between Ray, J.O., and Stover

That's true of most teams in the NFL..

I think you could make a better argument that he's the best Brown of all time. Even though his time with the Browns was brief, there alot less competition lol.

Ray

Ogden

Stover

Just my opinion.

Same for me, Stover's awesome, But He's a kicker, they always get the poop end of the stick.

Stover is hands down he best RAVEN. He carried Brian Billicks carrer and got us to the play offs won us coutless games with his clutch kicking.

id go for ray to be the best raven ever. i simply say that because ray is, imo, as good a linebacker as stover is a kicker, it's just that ray's trash talk with other teams really gets the team pumped up. he's really influential to the defense, if not the rest of the team.

Honestly, I don't really see it. Yes Stover may be one of the best kickers of of all time, but it isn't even debateable that Ray Lewis is one of the greatest linebackers of all time. I mean Ray changed the way the game is played and how linebackers are used on defense. In comparison, you can't expect me to believe that teams gameplan for Stover. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he has never even been to a probowl. How can he be the greatest ever, when he isn't even the greatest player on our team any year of our existance.

Yeah, okay, Jim Brown much. Or would you prefer some other Browns easily better than Stover. How about Bobby Mitchell, Mike McCormack, or Ozzie even.

Ray lewis IS the face of this organization but Stover has effected the outcomes of so many games DIRECTLY himself. Games have been won or lost due to HIS foot. Ray misses games throught out seasons if Matt missed all the games Ray has Billick would have ben gone a long time ago.

The whole defense held teams to less than 100yrds not Ray The whole D kept teams to under 6 pts But Matt had to finish of drive after drive after drive with 40 yrd kicks. This Franchise owes its lone Ring to Matt Stover

After Poe won the fiercest mascot, don't get me wrong I love him, I do not put much in these fan polls. They can be hacked of influenced by your rivals. Matt Stover is one of my favorite Ravens--Ray is the face of the franchise.

Stover has certainly been a hero numerous times, but I still feel that ray is the "franchise player" for the Baltimore Ravens.

Matt Stover is the first Raven EVER! And for a kicker to be 40 years old in this league and give so much to us, i mean, his accuracy, and numerous game winners, he is part of the Ravens heart of the team.

Stover has win many games, hes gotten us a lot of points, and been with us since the start, and can still get it done on the feild when we need him.

I would take Stover over Ray...

P.S.- not knocking Ray, I love Ray.

Okay. Just imagine if our D didnt have Ray and the way he makes everyone around him play better. Do you seriously think our D would be the way it is right now without him? Do you really think wed be One of the most feared Defense in the last 10 Years? If you take away "KEY" players from other teams how do you think theyll do with whoever is after? No Manning is kinda scarin the Colts right now. They lose him then its gonna be hard for the Colts. No one can come in and replace face of the franchise players.

I rate

Ray Lewis

&

Jonathan Ogden

for a tie for first. They both were anchors on their side and have done amazing things.

True About Ray yes. Has Ray had the entire game in his hands as TOTAL dependency. Like If "Ray" doesnt do this then we loose as many times as Stover? Not even half. Ray has the D on his back Stover has the franchise. He was the only source of our points for 3 months for cryin out loud

I can definitely understand the logic behind this, especially for someone who isn't a Ravens fan. He's been around almost two decades, he's our all-time leading scorer, not to mention the third all-time leading scorer in NFL history. That' being said, I am a Ravens fan, and I think it's clear that Ray Lewis is the greatest Raven of all-time (even if "all-time" only covers thirteen years).

Yeah, I agree. You can see someone's logic in thinking that, but at the same time you would realize that logic is angular and the obvious cut and dry answer is Ray Lewis. Easily. We are talking about the Baltimore Ravens; a team that stands for fast, physical, and intimidating play. The only reason a fan of any of the other NFL teams even knows or thinks about us is because of the reputation our D carries. Ray Lewis both created and embodies that reputation. In other words, Ray Lewis both created and embodies what the Baltimore Ravens are. He is the face, mouth, and bicep on our team. He is also the greatest MLB to ever play in the NFL. His individual stats speak for themselves. He is a winner, and a Superbowl MVP. We have Ray Lewis to thank for nearly every aspect of Raven football. He is, was, and always will be the best Raven on the field.

Matt Stover, Ray, and Ogden are great players that when you think of the Ravens you can't help but see them. As far as trying to determine who the greatest is, I won't even answer that because I love all of them and feel that they are equally great. After all, they played together for years ; Ray Lewis needed Stover to get those points that the Offense couldn't get, just as much as Stover needed Ray to hold teams out of the endzone and motivate his defense to succeed; just as much as they needed J.O. to anchor the left side so stover could be with in distance to even attempt a kick.

Somebody must have added an extra digit by accident because without a shadow of a doubt when you think ravens you think Ray Lewis. I love Matt Stover he is one of the all time kickers but Ray Lewis is one of the all time LB if not the best of all time. How does that even compare? Must have been a lot of non-Ravens fans voting.

I'm shocked that Stover won. Even more that he won by 17%. But he is up there with the most points ever scored, so I guess if it had to be someone other than Ray it would be autoMATic Stover.

As a Ravens fan i'll say MATT.

If someone one scores on our D to end the game, is it Rays fault, not always. If we miss and lose the game kick is it stovers fault YES! he wins or looses the game. And he has been put in that position far more times than any other Raven. Its Ray AND the D. Out there its JUST Stover and his foot.

If your talking about Athleticism Ray hands down BUT the question is who is the greatest im IMO that means who has ment the most to this team and thats Matt.

But I can see the logic for the other way around. Its Ray Lewis the best line backer ever how could he not be? if hes the best line backer he must be the best Raven right?

NO he just gets most of the glory and rightfully so, but if you dig deeper than the surface its Stover

Apparently you've never heard of Jim Brown or Otto Graham.

As far as the greatest Ravens player in my opinion there is absolutely no way you can say it is Stover. He has been a constant for the Ravens since they came into the league and that certainly makes him ONE of the best but THE best? I think it's pretty obvious it has to be Ray Lewis.

Other NFL fans do not think "Matt Stover is on that team, he's the best!" when they hear the Ravens mentioned trust me. The Ravens have been known for their great defense and the leader of that defense IF NOT the leader of your team has been Ray Lewis, hands down. To think otherwise is wrong.

Stover is no where near the greatest raven of all time he's our greatest kicker and will still be long after he is gone

I guess if you were to base it on performance, Stover is the greatest with all the clutch winning kicks he's made. I've lost count as to how many games we've won thanks to him. But Ray Lewis is the heart and soul of Ravens football. He led the defense and gave Stover the chance to make all those kicks.
