Thats a damn good list, surprised this years AFC Division game wasnt in there (unless I didnt see it). Tough to argue with the 2008 AFC CHamp game as #1.

It's not one sided... the games have been close.

It feels like the steelers are just a little better...

Week 1. Flacco's time to silent all the haters. If we start out hot against them, imagine the momentum that we'll have the rest of the season, especially considering the relative weakness of our schedule to last year when we went 12-4...

2006 was honorable mentions? Hmm the one year their butts get swept with a shut out in one game and just 1 touchdown in the other game.

Alex, this was about hard hitting. Apparently 1996 wasn't one of those years, but we DID make it to the AFC Divisional game that year, went to the SB the year before and won the division the year after.


In any event, I love this rivalry. I think we're lucky as fans to be alive in this era.

Yeah both 2006 games were disregarded but when the Steelers throttled us in 2007, it miraculously made it all the way to #16. But, hey, it's Bleacherreport, it's all crap.

Nice article, lots of memories with a lot of those games. That said, definitely not an unbiased one. The fact that the Ravens throttling the Steelers twice in 06 is only honarably mentioned and Big Ben throwing 5 TDs in a rout the next year making the top 20 is the furthest thing from unbiased, haha.
