I am only 14, but if any attack happens I am confident that our nation will unleash our own national "Organized Chaos" upon their country.

The only problem is, these folks don't have a country anymore. They exist in cells abroad. I still believe they lack the funds to act on any grand scale though.

Saddam Hussein was the former President of Iraq who was one of the key figures in the Gulf War, among other moments in history. He was categorized as a dictator for his genocidal campaign against the Kurdish people, in addition to other atrocities.

There was never a clear link established between Hussein and bin Laden, but they were the two key targets in the War On Terror. Particularly, Hussein was a target because he was believed to have harbored weapons of mass destruction and was believed to have funded terrorist groups in association with Al-Qaeda. Hussein was eventually captured in 2003 and put on trial for crimes against humanity, before being sentenced to death and hanged in 2006.

There was a belief that there may have been, but I'm pretty sure that's been proven false.

Saddam Hussein was an evil dictator guilty of committing genocide in his own country and causing destabilization in that region.

Obama Bin Laden was a murder, terrorist and founder of the terror group Al Queada.

So what is military next assignment? Find vice president of Bin Laden?
Unclear where the military is headed next. Most indications point towards being extra-vigilant since retaliation is likely, but that doesn't mean that anything will come of it. It doesn't sound as if the U.S. is aiming to be more aggressive in its pursuit of more Al-Qaeda officers since many key figures have been eliminated.

Ayman Al-zwahiri is likely to be new leader.

Any info on this guy? Location? can we go kill him so he can't launch an attack on us.

Haha, people do live there and they wouldn't take to kindly to being bombed again. Their anger is directed towards "western" countries and, specifically, the United States.

To quote the always eloquent Kanye West, "There'll always be haters, that's the way it is."

Our re-vamped DoD and Homeland Security has kept us safe for nearly 10 years, I trust that they'll continue to do so.

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy."-MLK Jr

Does that quote fit this situation?

SEALs uncovered what appears to be some good intelligence at the site. CIA is filtering through it and if you follow what the big wigs are saying, one of these assaults is usually followed by another, so hopefully yes.

Hiroshima is a thriving city actually. And no one outside of North Korea is mad at the Japanese any more.

It is not believed he can lead Al Queada like OBL did, or that he even wants to. Still, he's wanted.

It's a great quote and yes it works if you want it to.

But I think MLK might even make an exception here.

So Military is going to try and capture Ayman Al-zwahir?
Well, they are all targets of opportunity and we don't really know who is being actively targeted or the intelligence is leading us to. I do know that it won't be made public though. And "capturing" any of these clowns is the best thing they could hope for. I wouldn't be surprised to learn in 50 years that OBL begged for his life. haha

Although I heard if photos of a dead Osama are released to public, then it will just further persuade another attack.

is that true?

I doubt photo's would do more than killing him has, but then again, who cares? They may have hit us again anyway. But here again, I doubt they have the capabilities they had 10 years ago.Whereas our human intelligence is back to what it was in the 80's....which is a good thing.

I remember being a freshman in high school, watching those planes smash into the World Trade Center. I know this guy's more than likely just one cog in a network of enemies, and the threat of Al-Queda and other terrorist organizations is worse now than it's ever been. But man, this just gives me hope, knowing that if we put our minds to succeeding, and go about doing our tasks carefully and intelligently, we will get the job done.

How is our HI a good thing? Shouldn't we be above others intelligence?
By human intelligence I mean "intelligence gathering community" like CIA and DHLS and NSA. And well, it used to be among the best and I think we're back on the road to that position, but I'd be willing to bet the Brits are a little ahead of us at this point.

Why so many questions?

an Ode' to Team 6

Sixth Day of the week,
The day of reckoning has come,
Twelve ghosts ,
Wraith-like visages against walls of stone,
This ground holds a man,
One sought near half-a-score,
A man who for twenty had declared war,
On the innocent women and children,
The twelve do remember ,
Into the building they creep,
They slowly hash each guard one by one ,
Silent and stealthily they enter his sanctum,
He reaches for his rifle as does his guard ,
A Moment seems to last a Lifetime ,
Then in a hail of thirty two bullets ,
Justice is done the Ghosts return to the shadow,
Evidence in hand ,
Now all who know their home ,
Tell through out the land,
of Twelve Ghostly Visages ,
Who rid the world of one ,
Who Sought so much Evil ,
And their Job is not done.....

Don't feel embarrassed; that's actually a good question. Both were incredibly sick and against the US. but, as far as I know, they were seperate.
