Tandon Doss

Doss could very well be my favorite pick of the draft. While it does sadden me that McPhee was the only addition to the front seven and we spent four picks on two positions, Doss couldn't be passed up in the fourth. One of, if not the, the best set of hands in the draft, great speed (his forty time was hampered by groin injuries for those who love forty times), and the man is tough beyond words (he played with two sports hernias last year and didn't miss any time). Quite frankly, I think Doss will end up the better receiver of the two when all is said in done.

I agree 100%.

Best of all, this is a player Flacco actually wanted.

Yeah I was re-youtubin' david reed highlights.. and he looks more solid upon further review.. and FAST. So we have a solid Anquan, and Mason. And then, add Smith, Reed, and Doss (a guy FLACCO wanted), and we look great on paper. I hope Flacco gets the new WR's together in arizona with heap, Q, harper, and the other guys, because it would not be good to have them start praticing with lack of training camps.

I think David Reed is going to be a stud, when he has the ball in his hands we already know he has big play ability. Not many guys can be kick returners and be good at it, he came in and lit a spark on special teams. I think he will be a good one at WR in the years to come!

No offense, but getting tired of hearing this. What does he need to make excuses for, consistently getting better?
that's what i'm saying..haha, No more excuses for Flacco? he never makes any excuses and he doesnt need to, he's not the reason we haven't won the big games, he's the reason we got there though

In my view this kid is going to be a pro bowl type player and in the long run, will replace Boldin on the team!

We shored up the defensive back positions with two potential starters, we shored up the WR corps with two potential starters, we got beastly and potential starters for the RT and DE positions and lastly we got a RB who has size to potentially replace McGahee. Now, all this in one draft mind you.
Did we fill all our needs with superstars? No because it is impossible to do unless you pick all 8 in the first round! so I strongly suggest those guys who aren't entirely satisfied to please understand we did great and our team is much better now than before this draft!!!

According to the Front Page, Joe Flacco said he wanted Tandon Doss to be drafted by the Ravens.
“I said to Joe – ‘We’d like to get you involved a little bit in the process,’” DeCosta said. “It took him awhile to do it, and I was getting worried that he wasn’t going to get back to me before the lockout. Fortunately, he did get back to me and we discussed these guys. Honestly, the guy he was excited about was Doss.”
So, we can thank Joe for the drafting of Tandon Doss.

Yeah, the O-line plays better this year and the run game will be stronger and Joe will have time to let the routes develop. Its not all Joe's fault he had to hold it so long, WRs weren't getting separation and the routes being called arent always quick developing...I think Boldin needs to be used more like he was in Arizona, let Torrey run deep but I'm sure that he'll get Donte's job running reverses. haha
