Anyone excited for Terps football? The Maryland situation is eerily similar to the Ravens situation. No clear separation for QB...

I'm worried about our basketball team. We have only have two big men (Dupree and Burney). I wish we had recruited better...

The irony is, the Terps play Delaware in the football season opener...and it's that game that made me realize the Flacco-to-Baltimore scenario in the draft was too perfect to not happen for me.

I'll be looking forward to seeing how my Blue Hens fare against the Terps on the day before the Ravens' regular season opener. I only wish I had known months in advance that I was going to the Ravens/Bengals game, or else I would've gotten tickets for the Maryland/Delaware game and basically spent the whole weekend in Maryland.

i love terps basketball and gary williams but he needs to go. same with the AD Deborah Yow or whatever her name is. Gary is loosing some big recruits from this area. in the past he used to rely on how maryland was an acc school but that is not working as much anymore. now if we can get vasquez to stop making dope mistakes we will be good to go

I'm not saying Gary needs to go yet, but it is very frustrating to see star HS players from the Baltimore area (and there are plenty) not going to Maryland. Gary needs to rethink how he recruits people and go after local talent...

Terps down #23 Cal Bears, great game, I hope scott is ok. Let Chris Turner keep starting, he isnt horrible, and Steffy is injury prone, and I havent seen anything from Portis that impresses me. We played great D until the 4th quarter, but enough to take the W. I'm glad that the team shined in the spotlight in a game on ESPN. Good to see the terps back on track.

I wouldn't say we're back on track yet. But I was relieved when I saw what this team is capable of. If we played 60 full minutes of football the game would have been a blowout. I hope we can get better and not have another letdown. With this team, anything, and I mean anything is possible.

I think the Terps will have the same issue they had last year: winning the games they should lose and losing the games they should win.
