Ok....I will admit it, I am lost....No CBA, owners (NFL) do a lockout, so players file suit, court says no lockout...then the NFL says hey.... we will use 2008 CBA rules! >.>

Now please....speak to me as if I was a child cause I ask this honestly....why didn't the NFL do that in the first place and continue negotiating on a new CBA?

Have I missed something?
