favourite INT, EVER!

18 posts in this topic

Hi

I was reading a thread about favourite INT of 06,and I thought it was it was a shame i couldnt say ed's 106TD from 2004, or ed's one against cincy where he juked a few guys the kind-of fumbled it to CMac (so intentional!) who took it back for 6, or ed's one against the dolphins where he wiggled his way past like 5 guys, and got it their goalline almost.( I quite like ed reed!) and i thought maybe i should just make a thread where I could talk about those picks, and invite y'all to do the same.

My favourite was the bengals one, gotta love it when we score on the bengals!

It's gotta be the 106-yd one against Cleveland

record-breaking

and it should have been the 107-yd one vs the Jets

but Will Demps ruined that

That is still one of my favorites INT from ED simply because of billick reaction. "Get down Ed get down, ED oh no......go ED go, Go ED" you gotta love that. Hell even Ray was telling ED to take a knee in the endzone. The guys just sees the field to well taken a knee is never an opiton

Clearly Ed Reed's interception against the Bengals, when he was about to reach the endzone, he was already celebrating and stuff and all of a sudden some guy from Cincy's offense knocks the ball out of his hand. It was hilarious.

I just remembered the one this year, where he pulled that cool spin then did a flip over the tackler

I think it was against the steelers

Gotta love it when we score on the steelers( i know that wasnt a score, but we put a whooping on them that game)

I think the best INT's are any "Ed Reed" INT.... With his laterall's forgive my spelling or just taking it 106 yd's to tha house simply freaking AMAZING

I think some of the best interceptions are by those you never would anticipate to catch one. To that point, I get a kick out of seeing videos of Haloti Ngata and Kelly Gregg returning those interceptions. I swear you can see the whole football field shaking.

No doubt though is Ed Reeds interception.

ummm i think that Chris McCalister's INT in the final game of the '06 season last year was pretty good (it wasnt flashy or anything) BUT when he jumped on the ball and ran it back for a defensive TD to seal the Game and Ravens hopes b4 going into the playoffs was pretty good if i do say so myself

every int we had against pittsburgh last year

because steelers fans thought big ben was too much for our defense

i also liked ed reed picking off peyton manning multiple times so the media would finally shut the hall up about how great peyton manning is

I agree about the colts playoff game. Ed was a total beast the whole freaking game. one question tho. does anyone agree with me we got ripped off by the refs when ed got a pick and while he was running out of bounds lateraled it to Mcalister but the ref called the play dead cuz he thought he stepped out before he lateraled it?!?!?! WHAT TRASH!!!!!!!! Man i hate the REFS cuz everyone know Chris probly wud have taken it 2 the house!!! "Shakes my head in dissapointment" lol

Ed Reed has had some great picks like the one against Cincy where he juked out a whole bunch of people only to get stripped a few yards away from the end-zone however the 106-yard was so fun to watch. For one, it came at a crucial time and helped ice the game. Second, I think when he picked it off, everyone just wanted to down it but then he took off and people started to pray he didn't fumble. No one thought he could make it until no one from the Browns got close to him. Then when he started to do the bird-landing celebration, people went crazy. Great pick.

Another great pick I remember is the one Terrell Suggs had against the Steelers back in 05. It was funny b/c C-Mac defended the play and then the ball, rolled down Hines Ward's body and got flung into the air after rolling off his leg as he fell. I wasn't at the stadium but I know everyone must have been on their feet hoping a Raven would come down with the ball. I went crazy when Suggs managed to make the pick.

I think Ray's INT vs Tenn in the playoffs the superbowl season should forever be among the best INTs in franchise history

ED REED vs the pittied cleveland browns 2 years ago when he caught it 3 cm off the turf lol, and instead of taking a knee ( which the majority of the sane players would do ) he took off and scored on a 107 yard INT.

Best in ravens history.
