I thought I would make a thread in case people missed these on the websites or newspapers so there are no surprises! :o

Fan Conduct Policy: Don't Be A Jerk

NFL's Policy

I think its pretty much like the one that we have heard at every home that I've been to.

Stadium Smoking Policy Changed for 2008

The Baltimore Ravens have made changes to the designated smoking areas at M&T Bank Stadium in compliance with the new smoking ordinance in Baltimore, which has been in effect since February. There have been multiple changes to the locations and times where smoking is permitted, with the bulk of the changes being in effect on the lower concourse of the stadium. Designated areas and times when smoking is permitted will be noted on the concourse with signage

Here is the whole policy

The extra limitation on smoking is good, we don't need that at all in the Stadium. The "Don't be a Jerk" policy sounds good on paper, although I'm skeptical on how harshly it will/can be enforced.

I am very interested to see how the conduct policy is enforced, I've never really had a problem since 1998. Our section got much tamer once they took the bleachers out and turned them into PSL seats.

I was at M&T for the 27-0 drudging of the Steelers Nov. 26th, 2006, in section 138. A group of 4 Steelers fans was trying to cause trouble in OUR HOUSE because their teams was getting ****housed and I was the one that got in trouble for mouthing back to them!! This whole thing is stupid. If fans want to travel to a division rival stadium and mouth off, then we should have the authority and the right to beat them up and dump beer all over them. Honestly, I've seen Redskins fans throw Eagles fans down flights of stairs, stomp them out, and walk away laughing with friends at RFK, at a PRESEASON game, so why can't we do that to Steeler fans? Seriously? ****** those dudes.

Yeaa, I have seen Oakland and San Diego fights those get bad. I think last season or the season before someone died at a game. ALOT of people fight at those games and ALOT of people get away with it. I believe that if some guy starts been an idoit to the point where people start to fight they have the right to woop there ***.

Actually it was the same as our usual conduct policy and I was with a smoker who did not feel put out at all by standing in the yellow box and the gate. :P I just wish he would not smoke. AND I found out that Viking fans have their version of terrible towels but they do not wave them in your face. Vikes fans were OK. AND I'm glad Tavaris Jackson was not hurt badly.
