You heard it right. If your going to bash hip hop then your better off not saying anything.

Yar, me attempts to be cynical and sarcastic aren't welcome here :(

Strictly forbidden here.

Nah, I just hear lots people bash hip hop and all that stuff and it gets a little annoying. My bad, I get a little defensive about it

I, in fact, do enjoy some parts of hip-hop. KanYe West is one of my favorite artists, along with the likes of Jay-Z and Common. I only dislike the "thug-life" and such in hip-hop. People like 50 Cent, The Game, Lil' Wayne they just aggravate me. But, that's just my opinion and I certainly don't hold it against anyone if they enjoy that genre of music, it's just not for me.

im a huge fan of Game too! he's actually a pretty good lyricist than he gets credit for, and he's got an incredible flow that fits pretty much any beat.

I didn't watch the video, but I doubt it'd change my mind about The Game.

Honestly, he's a decent lyricist, but his name-dropping in songs got really annoying...even if he stopped doing it as much on his albums (which I wouldn't know, since I didn't bother with the last one), he's still going strong with that nonsense on his mixtape tracks...

I know, people hate the name dropping but you should check out some of the tracks on LAX, the name dropping is at a minumun and when he does do it. It actually makes sense instead of shouting the person out randomly. Game isn't my favorite rapper though my favorites are among, Crooked I, Ice Cube, and Nas.

I've been listening heavily to the 10th anniversary edition of Illmatic on my iPod...

I still can't get my head around how great his lyrics were back then in 1994. And then I listened to his Untitled album all the way through again, and I see how much he's matured as well...he's SO CONSISTENT.

(ignoring Nastradamus, of course...horrible, horrible album)

I knoooow, his discography is sooo amazing ranging from Stillmatic, God's Son, I Am and the songs like "Nas is like" I gave you the power" "One Mic" are soooo good. He's got so many classics out there and some of his albums are better than some rappers entire discography. I wish him and Primo would make songs again, they made classics. As for Untitled, it was the first album I bought in a while and I was not disappointed

Jay-Z & DJ Premier are getting back together possibly for The Blueprint 3. If Nas makes a guest appearance or two on there, best believe that he'll be on a Primo beat...

If Nas & Jay-Z were to collaborate on a joint-produced Primo/Timbaland/Kanye beat (Timbo on the drums, Premier with the scratches, Kanye with the strings & melody), that track would be EPIC.

That'd be nasty, those are 3 of my favorite producers. Jay featuring Nas with those three on production. Man I wish there was more music like Nas or Jay. By the way, whats your opinion on Ice Cube. I heard some of his Raw Footage tracks and there fire, he seems really hungry on that one.

Ice Cube has a lot of charisma and raw energy, but he's not really what I'm into.

I appreciate his older work from NWA and some of his early solo work and even a few Westside Connection tracks, but I haven't really been feeling his latest stuff. The last album of his that I gave a try was Laugh Now, Cry Later...it wasn't as good as it was made out to be, seeing as how it was touted as the highest-charting independently-released mainstream rap album at the time.
