How is Darren McFadden not ranked higher? He was one of the best RB in the NFL last year IMO.
Because of the talent in the NFL is so deep. Do you think he is better than Frank Gore?

Well after the Ravens I am a medial supporter of the 49ers, but whenever I see the 49ers games he seems to me like he can be overrated at times. I think in the 90s is a good assesment of Gore, however based on the 2010 season I would have rated McFadden in the mid 80's or so.

I wouldn't call him overrated. There were a few games this Season where he couldn't really get it going on the ground, but considering that he amassed over 1,300 yards in 10 games plus 1 drive, he would've lead the league in yards from scrimmage if it wasn't for the injury. Coupled with teams likely stacking the box given their QB situation, that's pretty impressive.

Ya because he can break big runs at times, however I felt like he was only getting 2, 3 yards a rush on most occasions and wasn't able to convert for first downs when the team really needed them. I'm a huge Gore fan, I just didn't feel confident in him when I was watching as a 49ers fan. I think it's an accurate ranking, however IMO I just felt that McFadden was a better RB last year, especially towards the end when Frank was injured and Darren McFadden was tearing it up getting like 150-200 yards a game.

I'd say that McFadden being a better RB last year is a reasonable assessment. Personally, I feel like both could be a little higher, because had they both played 16 games last Season, they would've each amassed over 2,000 yards.

Tony Romo comes in at #72, and for once I actually agree with Pat Kirwan.
Lost time is a factor
If we were looking at the top 100 players over the last three years, Romo would make the list. However, last year he only played in six games and had a 1-5 record. It's not his fault he was injured, but he doesn't belong in the top 100 heading into 2011. Maybe next year!
I don't. I think Romo had a pretty good year for six games. His O-line was busted, his players had no morale, and he still ended up with a 95 QB rating.

So they've already revealed up to 40 and no Suggs, Reed, Ngata or Ray yet. Anyone think Suggs got snubbed? I would be shocked if he's not in the remaining top 39.

I have a feeling we'll see Suggs and Ray Ray in the next ten players. I'd be appalled if Suggs wasn't on there, but if I had to guess roughly where he would be before they revealed any of the list, I'd say he would be in the 49-40 range, simply because I don't see him getting an awful lot of love.

It's a shame because Suggs was literally one of the best defensive players in the league last season but he'll be ranked behind players that didn't perform as well.

There have already been a good number of players that deserve to be higher, a whole bunch that have been wrongly snubbed and some that don't even deserve a place on the list. That's why I haven't been really motivated to watch this show.

Suggs most definitely was a monster for long periods last season. In the playoffs he was near untouchable. 5 sacks in two games is incredible.

They really should have just done a top 10 for every position. It would have been much simpler and much more accurate than trying to mix all the positions together in one list.

So true, although if we do have 4 defensive players in the top 39 players in the entire NFL, that is impressive.

True. I think at this stage they definitely are all there. It would be a massive snub to not include any of our guys now, although if I'm being honest, I'm a little surprised that Suggs wasn't revealed in the last set.

At the end of episode 50-41 it shows a Harbs preview for the next episode.

Harbs: " He just loves playing football, unblock able against the run and potential Hall Of Famer "

I figure he has to be talking about Suggs if it's a Raven, 31-40 is too low for Haloti.

Doesn't exactly sound like the description best suited for Suggs, so I doubt it. Also, I think you mean too high....

What exactly is the definition of "the greatest 100 players of 2011?" Some of this list is a bit silly IMO.

Possibly an Eagle. Has Trent Cole come up yet?

No I meant too low. If there is a top 100 list, wouldn't you consider #1 at the top? To each their own.

MK they have already presented Trent Cole, I believe he was in the 50's. Someone posted every episode so far on youtube.

What a crock. People, including his peers, don't know how well he played last season.

I loved how Jared Allen was all the way down at 80 where he belongs.

Cole is actually 73, 2 spots behind Mario Williams. He's ahead of Shaun Phillips, Jared Allen, Jay Ratliff, Lamarr Woodley and Beason.

A Raven will be #40. I bet it's Suggs... Ngata should be higher.
Yea, it was Suggs.
I'm glad he made the list, I was beginning to think he was going to get snubbed.

He was unblockable in the playoffs, and destroyed Pittsburgh. Had we won that game, I could see Suggs even higher on this list. I think this is about right anyway.

Shouldn't see any Ravens in episode 21-30. The remaining 3 should all fall in the top 15 IMO.

I agree. I can't think of an end I'd take ahead of him.
