Any Angry Birds Addicts?

I was recently introduced to this game (darn that person) and have become hooked. The problem is, I could use a "Angry Birds for Dummies" book. Does anyone know what's with the Golden Eggs? I figure they're significant but I don't know what for and what to do when one pops up on my screen. I pretty much just sat there and stared at it as it floated by. Also, what does the Mighty Eagle actually do if you buy one? It is reusable or just a one-shot deal.

Which Angry Birds version are you playing? Original, Seasons or Rio?

I've conquered the Original. Golden Eggs you just need to tap. Nothing special, just to fully beat the game you are suppose to find them all. Though I heard that in Seasons they have the golden egg hunt going on. Which I'm unsure what thats all about.

I don't know much about the Mighty Eagle. I heard that came out recently. But I did finally get burned out on Angry Birds. After I played all of the original, seasons and some of Rio.

Now I don't know if I can ever go back. Because I rooted my phone and lost all my save data.

I am about midway through the original. My wife has completed every thing on all three and is working on getting three stars on every thing.

My latest addiciton is Alchemy by Andrey Zed Zaikin, (there are several Alchemy's so I had to be specific)

This game is over the top addiciting.


But yes I also love Angry Birds.

Love Alchemy! My whole family plays Angry Birds, I went shopping at the Gettysburg outlets and my husband sat in the van 2 1/2 hrs playing in the van while I shopped lol

I have the "original" Angry Birds HD...latest version for iPad. I just cleared II-3. I-21 was the worst. That level nearly drove me crazy and I almost quit altogether since I figured if I couldn't get out of that level I might as well just give up. Persistence paid off, though. I swear the trajectories were inconsistent on that level. It was like a defect or something.

I also have the free version of Angry Birds Rio. That's a nice change of pace when I'd rather free birds than kill pigs.

I have 3 stars on quite a few levels, but not all. I figured I'd go back and get them later on. I just like advancing so I can see what the next level brings.

I wish someone had told me about the Boom- Boom level. I would have worked harder to get there sooner. I could spend all day firing off exploding birds. Is there anything else exciting coming up soon?

More stuff coming, yes. Exciting, depends on how you like the birds.

You've hit my favorite birds. My favorite bird handsdown is the yellow power bird. This bird can do pretty much everything. Straight attack, loft attack, distance attack. Then my second favorite is the black. Just find a good place to settle it in and Boom!

But you still have the egg laying bird coming up. If you use it properly it can be a dual pronged attack. 1st laying the egg bomb and second the launch.

Then you have the Boomerang Bird. Which is used as a boomerang. But it is hard to pinpoint the attack. A lot of times I don't even use it's boomerang features and just chuck it at someting (ala red bird).

Then you have Big Brother. Who is just a fat red bird. Bad distance but a lot of power.

I need some help!!!! I made it to level 6-5 and have encountered a goofy, pelican-looking green bird. Is that the boomerang bird? How do you use it? The pigs are hiding back in a cave and I obviously need to come at them from the opposite side but I can't figure out how to do that. Where do you get instructions?

I pretty much said the same thing until I got talked into trying it.


A lot of the "fuss" is that this company basically came out of nowhere and produced a huge hit. Now there are all kinds of "business model" studies going on to see if they can maintain this level.

Anyhow, forget my question. I found the answer with a Yahoo search.

I'm on level 12-12. I hate this game for being so addictive. That's what the fuss is all about.

It's like how addicting BrickBreaker and Tetris are. Simplistic in its design, but you can't stop playing.

While I have never played Angry Birds, I am a huge fan of another app. It is called "Crush the Castle" and it is highly addicting. I strongly recommend it.

If they just smiled, I could deal with it. It's the laughing out loud and mocking that makes me see red. I guess that's part of the reason this game is so addicting...you just HAVE to get that fat, mocking, pig.

Well, duh! I just figured out yesterday (by accident) that the big fat white bird is the one that drops egg bombs. I swear this game should come with directions. Now I can go back and try to improve my score on some of my 'weaker' levels.

Wahoo! Release 1.6 is now available (free update). It contains 15 new levels and fixes to some of the previous levels that didnt' work quite right.

There are a couple of levels where I think the game cheats. Can't remember the number, but there's one where I have repeatedly demolished the towers, had 2 birds left over, and only got 1 star. Really, if you have birds left you should get at least 2 stars.

Yeah, if you beat the level with one bird, it should be an automatic 3 stars.
