Honestly, i'll give anything different a chance (didn't realise Lil B made that Vans song a few years back), been listening to Yung God as well, his Caillou freestyle hella funny and is going viral.

I need suggestions for angry, angry hip-hop. I'm talking on the level of DMX-angry, but not DMX himself since I already have most of his albums. I'm talking hip-hop that you listen to when you wanna run through a brick wall.

Few rappers, at least that I know of, reach DMX-levels in terms of anger on a track. "Fight Music" by Pac and Xzibit and "75 Bars (Black Reconstruction)" by The Roots are two angry hip hop songs.

Awesome, I saw this thread listening to some old school Pac (Temptations -- why does everyone hate that song?? Love it.).

Agreed. I love the J. Cole produced HiiiPower! £5.99 for 16 tracks too, well worth it.

Not sure if you're still looking but M.O.P.'s "Ante Up" is a classic "angry" hip-hop song.

P.S. I saw Black Milk at a concert a couple of days ago, he was rated really low because of the band playing his songs, but his rapping was really sick. The band just sort of crashed it for him.

Having that said, I do not think J. Cole is the up and coming rapper. I REALLY like him, don't get me wrong, but in my book, he's not the cream of the crop... I'd rather think Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller, (Wiz Khalifa) and Tyler, the Creator are the ones to be followed.

Tyler the Creator and J Cole are overrated to me, I dont see anything special in either.
TC raps about the same thing over and over. I'm not saying that he's bad, I just don't know why he's so hyped up. Oh, and he said he wants to be mainstream; pretty sure they're not going to play his kinds of songs lol

While I like Tyler, a big part of the hype surrounding him and OF is due to their subject matter. He, Hodgy, Mike G and Earl are better lyricists than the average rapper in my opinion(Earl especially), but it's too early to start ranking and comparing them to more accomplished artists.

Well the thing about Tyler is that he has started a new sort of rap, just like Biggie, Pac and Nas did. He's rapping in an a lot more absurd way. It's sort of punk inside of rap. He's getting so hyped up because he's so different from the average rapper. The things he says in interviews for example, no other rapper with his life held above would say that. It's the same with Lil B, who is actually Tyler's idol, they appear to not care much about things and sometimes other people. Thats what people admire in the two.

M.O.P. has no shortage of classic "angry" hip-hop songs. The energy they bring on their songs is awesome and their guest appearances on other rappers' songs almost always steal the show.

No, just no. ESPECIALLY Mac Miller. He's a terrible rapper with an annoying voice that relies on good production

I'm not really a fan of Miller either. He raps about weed, sex and alcohol. Rap needs a new twist

I mean man, I'm still on my Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Kid Cudi lol. Not really looking forward to Cudi's new album though, don't know why he needs to add more rock. He was fine just the way he was. Have you heard his song with The Knux called "Run"? It's not good at all.

I don't know if you guys like this kind of music, but I know I've mentioned it before. I really like Young L's new mixtape called "DOMO-KUN". He used to be in The Pack with Lil B. My favorites are "Loud Pockets", "It's Your World, "Watch How I Do It" and "Sing To You". Here's the link to listen..
