Could not agree more. The Ravens need to start breeding some young defense play makers to go alongside Haloti Ngata and Terrell Suggs. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed can't play forever! We need some young blood.

I would love Justin Houston (OLB/DE) in the 1st round. He had 18.5 tackles for loss + 10 sacks and an incredible 44 QB hurries. Imagine him and Suggs coming off the edge together. That is a scary thought and would greatly boost up the pass rush which is in great need.

Take jimmy smith in the first then trade up to get a early second and get brook reed and then edmond gates in the third. We have enough picks to move around in this draft.

WIlkerson or Smith...chances are, one of them will be there in round 1...i hope! Hope its Wilkerson cus he will make our secondary that much better by default. Wilkerson, Suggs, Ngata...pleeeeaaaase, they will eat up Olines for breakfast. Give Ray the added confidence to roam and decapitate anyone who dares come across the middle.

No matter that defense is trade mark of Ravens there is no way to change the truth. We took 1 title in the time when our defense where No1. No one says that you must have No1 defense to take the title rather they say that you must have a good defense. All these last years we had a good defense but our offense was always a problem. I agree that we need young players in our D but if we want a title we must play more versatile offense.

Just wanted to add - I don't imply that we should pick OT/WR/DB or DE in first round. Just wanted to say what I think that we need to become a better football team.

Yards per game is not really nearly as important and points per game or takeaways. It would be nice to get a new Suggs or Nagta type of player in the mix though and go from top 3-5 in PPG to #1. Last year the #1 and #2 ranked teams in PPG played in the SB.
