Lorenzo Neal Is A Baltimore Raven

56 posts in this topic

Just want to say congrats to you all on getting Lo Neil. The is/was/will be a beast for all time. Loved him when he was on my Bolts and he becomes a great reason for us to be glad we won't see you in the regular season. Just do not throw to him in the flat. The guy is made of stone and he has rocks for hands.

Thanks bud. I'll call Cam right now and pass that on. LOL Thanks for stopping in. Good luck to the Bolts.

This makes me a little worried that Willie Mac won't be ready as expected and that he might be in worse shape then advertised. I do like the signing and he will definetly contribute as one hell of a blocker on both run and pass. This could be very helpful to Rice and maybe Cam has seen that with a little more help Ray Rice could step in for the injured McGahee early and make a difference and Neil will be the driving force. Good move on the Ravens on this signing!

Good and Bad.

If he starts, i feel it will impede McClain's learning curve, because lets not forget he did very well last year his rookie season, hopefully if Neal does start, he can offer tutilidge and guidance to young McClain and improve our fullback situation as much as it can be improved for now, and years to come.

I still think McClain might have to drop another 15lb, otherwise hes probably just going to be our short yardage/goalline back.

I just heard the news, and have to say that I think it's another great addition to the team. This definitely helps with blocking, especially is McLain and Neal are blocking. I also like the idea of McLain running behind Neal on short-yardage situations. I think that McLain is great fullback with his whole career to get better, and having Neal on our team can only help him learn how to use his potential to the fullest. People constantly talk about having a veteran QB to teach the younger guys, but I'm sure it works the same way for other positions. Between Washington, Ayenbadejo, and Neal, Ozzie continues to look like a genius.

I'm very excited about this pickup. Lorenzo Neal is a force of nature on his own. He should greatly help Willis and add some valuable blocking for our QB. Watching Neal truckstick through the Steelers is going to be incredible and I can't wait.

this would be good in the 2RB formations, we need that protection. two power 'backs in neal and mcclain, it will be interesting to see mcclain as an HB...i wonder if they'll do that vs the vikings.

I want to see some Steeler guy get trucked by Lorenzo Neal. Id love to see any one of their players on the turf. Would be a beautiful sight to see.

I'm not sure how this is going to work out but Neal is a blocking beast! This dude is a Line Backer on the wrong side of the ball. He is the Ray Lewis of Full backs. 52 on Defense and 42 on Offense! :o

Neal will still lay LBs out with his power. Just because he got cut doesnt mean he was spiraling downward in his career. He just came back from the pro-bowl this year. I bet he really wants to show the Chargers that they messed up when they cut him.

Neal is going to be soo sick and is really going to add to our "smashmouth" way of playing. Would be interested to see if we run any 3 back formations with Neal, McLain, and Rice/McGahee

255 lbs ...I just keep thinking of those goal line stands where that will be the difference between 7 and 3.

I know this is out of topic but back to the madden situation.

Last night

on all madden

I played the steelers

I signed Neal

destroyed them

38-0

Neal ran for 88 and 2 touchdowns also (i was only sacked once) and Willis had 144 on the ground.
