Former Baltimore Raven loudmouth Bart Scott (2001-2008), now of the New York Jets, claims that the New England Patriots "want to be like us" and that "Wes Welker's trying to talk like us." Oh, sorry, Bart, but last time I checked if was your cocky team who's always trying to be a vurtual "carbon copy" of the Ravens. Scott really shouldn't be criticizing Wes Welker's mouth either, because the Jets talk trash twice as much as any other team in the NFL.

Why would the Patriots ever want to be the Jets?
Oh well, I guess this is the type of news you get in a lockout...

I think Scott got a bit confused. I'm sure he meant the Jets want to be the Patriots. After all, how many rings does Brady alone have compared to the Jets franchise alone?

He also said some select things about the Ravens, too...

The Patriots have always talked smack... always. Especially after our '07 game against them. Bart was probably just too slow to pick up on it until the media pointed it out. Bart Scott is the biggest troll in the NFL - all mouth, no action.

Remember that time when Bart Scott drew a flag to bring back a game winning bomb from Boller to Mark Clayton against the Patriots? Good times, must be why the man's so bitter. Although he only has himself to blame, you'd think he'd be used to getting spanked by the Brady Bunch by now.

Scott also said that "the Ravens don't play like the Ravens anymore" and that "John Harbaugh changed everything." Really? Just, really? That's all I can think to say.

Yeah. Considering the change was good change. Playoffs three consecutive years. Only playoff wins in Scott's tenure as a Raven... why is he still mouthing off?

How about Bart actually does something, other than being the most over-paid Linebacker in the NFL.

Seriously, he mouths off like he's the best player on a multi Super Bowl winning team when, in reality, he's not even the best ILB on the Jets.

On a side note, Bart - Do you like Mark Sanchez? I love him, 'cause he's craptastic and kills your chances of winning a Super Bowl.

What you mean? According to Rex they are 2 Time Super Bowl Champs... oh wait even in Rex's Dreams they still don't have enough Rings to match Brady or the Patriots Franchise.

I think he made almost twice as much as T-Sizzle last year. And had 60 fewer tackles than Ray

you guys need to stop sippping on all of this "hater-aide" for Scott. lol!

i absolutely love the trash-talking! i love cats who are true to themselves and don't always follow the crowd in what they should or shouldn't say. and, you cats can say whatever you want to say but Rex got those Jets foaming at the mouth for a championship. they already appeared in two back-to-back AFC Championship games. but nothing is more classic than this:

"... and bears want to learn to talk so they can hang out with the Jets!"
[/quote]

They did.... until they saw Rex and Bart and decided it was better to learn to talk so they can talk to Ray Lewis.

The New York Jets are like Entourage with the "We do whatever the hell we want" attitude. You chill with your friends all the time with your agents/boss not giving a crap about your bad actions. You always have a good time with eating cheeseburgers during practice, hitting on smokin' hot females, and admire some toes.

The Baltimore Ravens are like...Mad Men (minus the smoking, drinking, and sexin') with the corporate style. You wake up early every morning with your trusty old shovel and get to work to keep digging to...somewhere.., you work hard everyday and make sure to grind your sword and keep it sharp, and be sure to always keep your junior varsity "Might Men of Baltimore" jacket nice and clean.

In the end, they are both successful with winning seasons and playoff appearances. The Jets have been slightly better in the end due to making 2 straight AFC Championship games. The Ravens aren't too far behind either and it's neck and neck for Super Bowl supremacy. But which style will last longer in the future?

Well....we will find out next season...;)

Im fine with talking crap, but who talks crap in the middle of April? Its completely useless, you talk crap in the season for a big game, and on the field, and ONLY if you can back it up. Scott hasn't made an impact play since 1995(exaggeration, but the dude doesnt make impact plays).
