Honestly, not surprised. But don't count the Flyers out completely.

If Sunday isn't a happy outcome, I will give props where they are do. But until then, if it happens, I'm not giving up.

I'm hoping for a Montreal win. I think we match up great with them this year unlike last. I do hate playing Canadian teams in the playoffs but.....

But the sound of no Philly/Boston in future series sounds like music to my ears. Though Philly has a mess at Goalie right now.

Yeah really. Philly and Boston need to go. Buffalo IMO would be our biggest threat simply because of Miller. If those two are gone though, and IF we make it to the cup, I'm sure all we will hear is how we had no competition blah blah blah. But I'm liking this one game at a time approach. And, today I really noticed our defense into offense transition. Example: Ovies goal. Great defense, pinning the D along the boards, and still come away with a goal because of the raw talent of our players. That is a good formula for success.

Haha what a beating, it was a game that never happened.

Did you see that Malkin is already back on skates after tearing his ACL? He is miles ahead of where I thought he would be, I would of thought he would be rehabbing most of summer.

Eh, don't get fooled by that. Guys I know that have torn their ACLs haven't been held down for long. However, when you say skating, do you mean like power skating? Or skating that my 8 year old cousin would be doing lol.

That probably is part of his rehab. I know it's a different injury, but Crosby has been skating with the team for at least a month and is seemingly not even close to coming back. This kinda thing can definitely be deceiving, although it is definitely still a good sign no doubt.

Agreed no doubt it's a good sign, but brain injuries are far different than tearing a ligament. Crosby I would like to believe is close.
