Irish Raven

In Praise Of This Site

We had a similar thread a few months ago but I cannot find it
Anyway, it's offseason and it's not like I'm clogging up the board.

Just gotta say well done to the administrators and crew who manage this site.

I'm involved in a mock draft on a site in Ireland with random picks so I read many team sites to pick up tips and trends. A huge amount of teams have the same format of website and same menus.

I've read the Texans, Jags, SF, Chiefs, Panthers and many others.
The Texans probably have the liveliest debates out of all of those, good crew over in Houston

But of all the sites, the Ravens is the easiest to use and most user friendly. So straightforward to use the way it is laid out. Simple is best.
Even the Packers site, it's not that straightforward and certainly not obvious how to find the fan forum. Try for yourself :)

If I had one criticism, it's the Raiders and Chiefs are doing far more videos right now then the Ravens. Mike Duffy is doing fine but with the stack of facebook questions that Mike and Ryan get, some more weekly segments would be great :)
I realy enjoy those fan question videos

But I realy like the simple layout here. Not huge menus, just simple and you get the breaking news, videos or the forum from the main page

Most teams in the NFL try for something fancier and fail. As I said before, simple is best!

Edit; edited for spelling

IDK, some of the debates here are pretty 'lively' haha..I dont know if I want them to get more lively..someone might get hurt.

I agree. This is a very easy site to use and navigate. I visit other team sites during the year, just to see what our opponents fans are saying and some of them are nearly impossible to navigate. This one is laid out very simply, and in this case simple is better.
