What do you guys think of him? I think hes going to best one of the best PR and KR in the leauge. Today alone out of his 2 returns he had 48 yard KR and 52 yard PR, Pretty good if you ask me

He will definitely have a great year, barring injury. He's shown improvements on ball-carrying, after a few fumbles last year. I wish he hadn't stepped out at the two, but it was still a great return.

Yamon looked awesome, and could be primed for his first Pro Bowl... Not to mention he looked like he belonged out there with the number one offense, displaying his astounding speed.

Great preseason game against no-name second stringers. If he can put in a full consistent season I will sing his praises from the mountian tops... pause, no ho**.

Yamon defiantly had a good showing, would've loved to see him catch that deep post pattern but it seemed the ball was underthrown and he had to stop running. Remember this guy is a track star turned football player so he still has alot to work on when it comes to catching balls.

And did you guys notice how a LB caught up to him on his PR? Tht kinda of surprised me. I know the LB probably was taking the best angle but still I would hope by that point everyone would be eating Yamon's dust

Overall great game, can't wait to see more of him, will be a focal point for our sick ST

That LB had a good angle and was already at top speed. I think Figurs stumbled and dived at the end as well, like McGahees touchdown against the Bills last year.

Im coining a new term anyway, F.W.A, Figurs With Attitude

I hope he can improve enough to be utilized in the passing game. He had at least one catch in the game, but then he slowed down on the deep pass. If he can get better in that respect he could definitely stretch the defense with his speed.

If he cant hit the ball in full stride, wether its his fault on his route or the QBs fault with his touch hes not going to be able to use his speed. Thats Claytons problem too, and having 3 QBs doesnt help when youre trying to build chemistry and timing.

Kyle under threw him he could have pulled away from the dude if the ball was further down field.

As far asd the pr, yamon got tripped up by the stupid kicker.

The reason he slowed down was because Boller, as usual, didn't put enough air under it to give him time to run underneath it in stride!

The ball could have been thrown a little further, but Figurs tried to catch it above his head. Had he run another few steps, he would have had a good chance at hauling it in.

Now all he's gotta do is not end up another BJ Sams....

Nothing wrong with BJ. He was a beast, the Bengals had a curse on him, I think.

I know, BJ was my favoite returner, like ever, before he got hurt. I was saying hopefully he didn't break his leg, or suffer some other seriousl injury.

i hope he turns out to be more like Jermaine Lewis was; in his prime with us.

oh how those back-to-back TD punt returns from super bowl are still fresh in my mind.

i love how everything from that night is fresh in my mind...like a not-to-be-named QB won it for us out of nowhere

i know, man, i know. *sniff, sniff*

i have the super bowl year playoffs+super bowl on DVD.

after i re-watched it (many years after the super bowl), i realized

that the not-to-be-named QB really wasn't that great, BUT... he did

get the job done.

If he didn't slow down it would have been just the defender and the ball which I think would have led to a INT. Yamon is great in the return game he has a lot of speed and he get north and south very fast. The other returner's seemed to be stuck on east and west, you have to get up field first.
