That second "incomplete" (I say complete) pass to Darnerien McCants was NICE...he fit it snugly between two defenders.

that would have been a beauty if McCants held onto that ball!

As of right now, unless Troy Smith fails majorly on the next couple of drives, it seems as if he's definitely leapfrogged Kyle Boller, if you were to judge the competition solely on this game.

But...that's not what this QB competition is about.

There's still more of Troy Smith to see, and of course, Joe Flacco's NFL debut.

Incomplete, but McCants looks good out there.

The state of Delaware (both the University of Delaware and Delaware State University) has always produced football players.

It's just that no one's ever noticed them until now. How convenient. ;)

Dwan Edwards' spin move on that last play, even though it didn't amount to anything, was still a thing of beauty to watch.

That was almost an interception by Jim Leonhard...man, this secondary is drastically improved from last season!

[edit]- Never mind, it wasn't a near-pick, but still nice, physical coverage by the former Buffalo Bill.

BEAUTIFUL... McAllister taught him well.

Defensive backs coach (and former Bears/Lions/Redskins Pro Bowl safety) Mark Carrier taught him well. ;)
