Kickoffs To Be Moved To The 35 Yard Line

Touchbacks rule doesn't change though, and two man wedges haven't been eliminated.

This is great news for kickers... Billy should shatter the record next season, assuming there is a next season of course.

It will also be interesting to see those really high kicks to the 1 or 2 yard line with the ST unit getting that extra five yards... kick-off strategy could change significantly.

Just when I got used to kicking off from the thirty yard line, the rule is changed. Yes, I can understand that player safety is what we're dealing with here, but I just didn't count on this.

Still, I applaud the move overall.
