How bad has your team to be that they can't even pick a single player to represent them as the Madden's cover?
There's a few players they could have picked like Tatupu, Thomas, Washington, etc. Maybe it's just me, but it kind of ticks me off that they chose the "12th man" instead because it's like they're saying that the fans of the Seahawks are the best in the league (especially seeing as how they were the only team with that option for a vote). In any case, they lost though so it is what it is...

Madden 12: Dumb & Dumber Edition.
I got one better...

Madden 12: Lockout Edition. Since Roger Goodell & the NFLPA couldn't get a new CBA done it is up to you to help out and get a CBA done. Propose Offers to the Players and League and see if your offer can be good enough to bring on a new season.

Once your successful in being able to get a deal done, you will complete the first achievement of Madden 12, "Negotiate a CBA" and you will unlock the all new and improved "Franchise Mode" as a playable mode in Madden 12.

Well the "final four" for Cover Athlete voting is now between Aaron Rodgers/Peyton Hillis and Michael Vick/Adrian Peterson. Two quarterbacks and two running backs, the two most feature positions (6 covers each). Honestly, I'm surprised more wide receivers haven't been on the cover. Anyways, I'd be pissed if Vick gets on the cover again. Personally, I was hoping Patrick Willis would win it, but hey, now Ray gets to remain at the only linebacker (and the first defensive player) to grace the cover of Madden.

I could have told you from day 1 that the Finals would have been Aaron Rodgers vs Michael Vick with Rodgers winning. This whole Tournament was a fraud, they knew they wanted Rodgers on the Cover so they gave him easy match ups on his side of the bracket to ensure he made it to the finals. At least Vick had some competition.

I'm pretty sure they seeded every player and Rodgers was #1, which is why he'd have an easy run in.

I'm surprised Peyton Hillis is in the final four, though.

An article on there actually said Hillis has jumped out to a sizeable lead over Rodgers. Says that there may be an upset.

I voted for Rodgers and Vick. I think they are the two most deserving players left, and possibly the two most deserving regardless.

There are some results that somewhat baffle me about this bracket, but you just have to root for Hillis of Vick, Vick is self explanatory but I mean for Hillis,

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THEY HAD A WHITE RB ON THE COVER?

Never.

If that is the case than it was pre determined that they wanted Vick on the Cover all along, not Rodgers.

In what could be a shocker.... Peyton Hillis has a slight lead on Michael Vick making him the leader heading into the final days of voting. The winner be announced on Wednesday.

I told you guys... the only white RB to ever grace the cover of Madden was just too tempting....... and why wouldn't you vote for him. It's not like he killed a bunch of dogs or anything.

It's not that much of a shocker when you figure that the Browns had the most organized campaign out of all the teams in this tournament. They went heavy on social media and united the fanbase online. When you combine that with the fans who'll vote against their rival teams AND the superstitious fans who'll vote against their own player, it's a recipe for success.

I think that's the key right there and the only reason Hillis beat out Rodgers.

So Hillis won....I voted for him, only because Vick was on the cover.
Yep what a shocking upset I say.

Here's the Cover

This may be harsh, but he's probably among the worst players to be on the cover. (Obviously guys like Young are worse)

He had a good season statistically but wore down towards the end of the year. Next year he's going to be in a committee with Montario Hardesty and probably a receiving threat out of the backfield. I'm thinking a few weeks into next seaon people'll be saying "Why did we get this guy on the cover?"

I agree completely. He's a one year wonder in the NFL and didn't warrant a chance to be on the cover. The only reason he won is because of the Madden curse. Who cares if someone on the Browns gets injured, they're not going to win many games anyway.

LOL.... the Browns were already cursed as it was! Now that Hillis is on the cover, I wonder what will happen to them now?? Franchise leaves town??? Oh wait........

Maybe Browns fans think that a curse combined with another curse actually works in reverse and gets rid of the original curse and blesses the team???

I don't wish he'd get hurt, but should the 'Madden Curse' hold true it will be a good thing for the Ravens. Even though in the second game he did absolutely nothing.

On a personal level, I'm happy for him. Like the PFT article says (LINK) he's gone from a near nobody to a big name. Good for him.

That's not the final cover, that's merely a mock-up by EA. They'll release the final cover art later.

ok this aside lets focus on the other thread any news on additions to madden 2012
These are the only five improvements we know of, in addition to more realistic grass, expanded playbooks, and proposed (yet-to-be-announced) changes to Franchise and/or Superstar Mode (LINK)
