And earlier this week we were introduced to 16yo bully victim Casey Heynes aka Zangief Kid aka Casey the Punisher, who because famous when he snapped and violently bodyslammed a bully onto the concrete after being repeatedly punched. The video went viral despite youtube removing hundreds of uploads and online support has been overwhelming with many calling him a hero. The story was also widely reported around the world.

Actually, she's much more laid back in person. I've been able to talk to her at least once a week until about three weeks ago starting November 2010. She lost her internet connection recently, and her laptop charger was sitting in her mom's trunk for some reason, which is why she hasn't been on in a while. She's actually planning on making a new video soon. Her mom told us that she is currently working on four video projects, and at least two are Boxxy. I also have screencaps to prove everything I said. Also, I've been in contact once or twice with Tabby's mom through Youtube since they are interested in Catie (If you didn't know, that's Boxxy's real name).

I'll provide a pretty detailed explanation since I was there when it happened.

A Californian girl named Catie and her friend Priyanka joined Gaia Online around 2008. There, they met two Floridan boys nicknamed Admiral Awesome and Ant. They requested Catie to make a video shoutout to them both, so she complied. In the videos, she put on a character called Boxxy. She portrayed her as an overactive girl that wore a ton of makeup. For about a year, the two videos went into obscurity.

Then, in 2009, an unknown person uploaded the videos to funny-or-die.com. It received a lot of hits. It was then spread to 7chan, and slowly made it's way to 4chan. People wanted to know more about her, and her fame grew. She was plastered everywhere in the internet. Then, after a year long hiatus, she made her third and most damaging video, Foar Everywun Frum Boxxy. It explained how she enjoyed the attention and gave shoutouts to a couple people.

The video gave tore 4chan apart. Boxxy threads filled the first page, and a rift grew in between the fans and haters. The haters couldn't stand everything, so they decided to do something about it. They gave moot a choice to either filter Boxxy out or they will DDoS the website. He did not comply at first, and the site went down for a while. Once the site went back up, he started banning people that posted Boxxy on the chan. The ban on Boxxy has been lifted since.

On an other group, specialists that call themselves the CBCR decided to end Boxxy once and for all. Headed by Eyrev, they were able to hack into her private myspace account and her Youtube account in two weeks. In the Youtube account, they uploaded a video telling Boxxy to "never create another video" or else her dox would be released. Their actions were disliked by a majority of the people, even from the haters, saying that they went too far. Eyrev realized his mistakes, and he disbanded the group and has ever since been trying to help Catie get back on her feet.

The CBCR dox was leaked by their main investigator, Anon77, who is definitely one of the better hackers out there. Everybody scrambled out for her dox, trying to find new pics of Catie and just finding as much information about her as possible, which is a very traumatizing event for a 16 year old girl. A group of people even went to her house, bringing flowers. She has told us that it was one of the scariest moments of her life, since she did not know their intentions and was scared for her family's safety. She then was not heard from for two years.

In November 2010, an anonymous person created a thread on a fansite of hers called Unichan. There, the person linked it to an eBay auction. It was Boxxy selling her Inuyasha bag for twenty dollars. Everybody was not sure if she was trolling or not. Then she started provideing OC, giving timestamped pictures and showing the clothing she wore from her previous videos. She was finally back.

Recently, we were told by her mom that she was planning on making about four new videos, and at least two were Boxxy. We're not sure when it will be coming though. College can be a pain in the butt.
