Since I cannot, for the life of me, make a Family Guy reference anywhere on the boards without having someone know where it's from (ER20), I'd like to dedicate this thread to the beloved show.

I'll be honest, the show has gotten extremely stale since the 2009 season started. Peter is less stupid, Brian is more pretentious, Stewie is less evil, Lois is more annoying, but Meg remains the same lol. It seems as though they have lost a few writers in the process, but if you're a true Family Guy enthusiast, you'll still appreciate the new stuff.

Anyway, to celebrate the blessed years from 1998, skipping 2002-2003, and returning in 2004, I'd like for everyone to post their favorite Family Guy scenes in this thread for a great laugh. I'll start.

There are definitely better segments, but overall the tone of the show has changed. Peter is smarter because it allows for wittier lines, Brian became more left wing which is probably an extension of Seth McFarlanes personal agenda and Stewie went from evil genius to gay. Personally I think when the show is good it's as good as any animated satire, when it's bad it's cringeworthy.

American Dad has it's moments and might have surpassed Family Guy recently but overall, I'd say FG is the funnier show.

I will own up and admit - I was never really a fan of this show when it first came out. But, over the past few years, I have grown to like it, mostly because we have now seen the Stewie-Lois contretemp play itself out.

As for the views of Seth McFarlane, I welcome any attempt to see if those views are funny at any rate.
