Free Agency - Locked Out

Really? This is the sort of time that Al Davis rises from his crypt.

I'd expect him to pick up at least one of the fastest Free Agents out there.

Ok but question, who would be Free Agents, would they operate under last year's rule meaning 6 years of service or just regular rules for 4 years?

I can feel for both the players and the owners. But come on you grown "supposedly" men, you mean to tell me you can't figure out how to split NINE BILLION dollars?!?!?!?!? Jesus with all the problems going on with the regular man and woman, who actually make this country go around and actually work real jobs getting paid pennies to what you millionaires make. I wish I had the problem of trying to figure out how to split up NINE BILLION dollars!

Right now we should be in the middle of Free Agency and discussing who went where and who over paid... I just want this lockout to end, the off-season is one of my favorite things about the NFL and I am going through Free Agency withdrawl right now.

I agree with this tweet from Schefter:

"Free agency was supposed to have started three weeks ago today. Wonder how different teams would have looked today..."

Adam we all wonder what it would be like and how it effected the Draft, who would fall because teams filled a need in FA, who left certain teams and how would the teams replace those players in the draft.. and so many other questions.

You know what really surprises me, Dan Snyder hasn't over paid for a player, guess the economy hit Snyder in his wallet and he couldn't do his usual Free Agency Spending Spree.

The other thing that surprises me is that somehow Aso is still unsigned... what is Ozzie waiting for!

Edit: Funny how we have to stay amused by joking around about Free Agency.. I just don't get why they just used last year's rules, the Final 8 Rule, you can only pay a player X amount, etc and say Free Agency and Trades can happen while we work out the CBA.

I know I said this in the De certification Thread but look we have to hope for the Players to win in court tomorrow because that would mean the Lockout would be lifted and Free Agency, Off-season Programs would begin and there would be a season in September. Let's Pray the players win and we hear Free Agency Begins on Friday!

Sorry didn't mean to do that. Just that I saw the thing about tomorrow's big court date and how if the players win the lockout would be over and Free Agency would begin, would get people excited and hope for that to happen. Just trying to lighten things up in this boring off-season.
