Which Ex-Raven Would You Bring Back?

49 posts in this topic

If you could bring back one ex-Raven and add him to the current roster.. Who would it be and from which year?

My pick.. Peter Boulware from 01' He was a SACK MACHINE (15 sacks) that year and would be unstoppable with Suggs right now!

Have to go with JO between 98-04, he was the best LT, maybe most dominant lineman, in the league. Forget about Gaither, move Oher back to RT, Yanda back to RG, and we have a powerhouse of an OL.

On defense, Boulware would be a beast. But maybe 05-06 Adalius Thomas, he was a bevy on talent and a game-changer.

Tough to pick just one, Jamal Lewis from 03 would be sick right now considering we have an actual QB as well...2,000 yards on the ground of pure power and like a 5.5 yard average or something crazy with 14TDs. JO from 98'04 like B said, Boulware anywhere from 97-03 before his knees gave out. CMac from 99-06 before his knees gave out was the prototype corner.

If it was who would actually help the team the most it would be JO in his prime, you just don't find LTs like him everyday.

But what I would give to see Ray Ray from 97-04 again before he blew out his hamstring.

J.O for sure, I think even now he would still be a Huge improvment on that O-Line ! I kinda miss Mcallister and The Goose too on defense, LOL. Although I love me sum Cundiff ... I miss Matt Stover still.

Good thread.

On offense, I would love me some JO. A Hall of Fame tackle would certainly help our offense.

On defense, I would pick Peter Boulware. One of the best, if not the best sack artist Baltimore has came across with.

I'll take.... J.O. with my first pick, to shore up our concerns for the next year on our line. He'd help us tremendously, and he'd also help Flacco go to the next level since he wouldn't have to worry about who was coming for him as much.

With my second pick, I'll take..... Peter Boulware. Amazing sack artist, would be exactly what our D needs. Combine these two players into our lineup with our current players, and you have an amazing team.

I really can't how you make a valid discussion for anyone other than JO.

C-Mac is a not too distant second though.

My first pick would be JO of course. Second, probably Boulware. Our D would be so friggin scary! C-mac is a close third though.

Not even close, JO.I assume you meant "other than JO..." in which case I'd want 2006 C-Mac
[/quote]

Same here, after the original big man I'd take Cmac, after that Rod Woodson.

since none of us have a time machine it would narrow the pick significantly.

J.O. pops into mind quickly. Its pretty likely he is still in decent shape.

Edgar and Allen would be great to have back on the team.

Matt Stover just so he can end his career as a Ravens and not that team from Indy.

JO, like basically everyone else, but there are a lot of Ravens to consider.

But in an effort to be original I will pick HOF TE Shannon Sharpe, probably the best reciever we have ever had

I'd definitely want J.O. back. Imagine if he came out around the same time as Flacco and we had that pair for their entire career. That would have been a epic run, no doubt.
