Favorite Players Not On The Ravens

27 posts in this topic

Although we're all die-hard Ravens fans here, there's bound to be a few players on other teams that you enjoy watching on Sundays.

As the title implies, who are YOUR favorite non-Raven players?

Mine:

Patrick Willis (LB, 49ers)

Clinton Portis (RB, Redskins)

Roy Williams (WR, Lions)

Chester Taylor (RB, Vikings)

Omar Cuff (RB, Titans) --> This one's a biased pick, since I followed his college career here in Delaware, and I'm hoping he somehow catches on in that extremely-crowded Tennessee backfield, if not with another team...

I probably have a couple more that I can't think of off the top, but what about yours?

Brian Urlacher (Bears) Best Linebacker in the NFL over the past decade not named Ray Lewis :D

Devin Hester (Bears) Excellent return man

Bob Sanders (Colts) Best safety not named Ed Reed

Randy Moss (Patriots) Best WR when he feels like it of course!

Amobi Okoye (Texans) Future superstar DT

I love Bob Sanders, too bad he's a Colt, so technically I also hate him.

I like Larry Fitzgerald alot.

I like DeMarcus Ware alot too, but I hate those damn Cowgirls.

Steve Smith! Dude's insanely good.

I loved Sean Taylor... too bad about that guy, he might have been HoF material :(

why is Brian/Brain Dawkins in all caps?

3rd favorite player of all time. I am also trying to state by using the caps that he is a beast and has a high status over the others :)

What ever happened to BJ Sams?

He signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent in April.

well he was awesome before he broke his leg and if it healed/heals correctly look out for him to be a beast this year.

I would have to say my favorite non-Raven players are the ones I have on my fantasy league.

Although I do like watching Ocho Cinko, T.O. and Randy Moss. Deep down inside i hate them with a passion, but enjoy their entertainment.

I enjoy watching Chad Johnson, but most of the instances where I'm watching him, are games he's playing against the Ravens. Which, in that case, I'd hope he has a horrible game.

Otherwise, I root for the guy when I can; his touchdown celebrations were all in good fun, and it's not as if he was being overly disrespectful to opposing teams. He's a good example of how "bad" behavior can be taken the wrong way, and it's a shame that Terrell Owens has basically ruined that fun with his own mean-spirited celebrations and taunting.

I'm gonna throw out another one. Matt Halsslebeck. He's completely underrated and since my seahawks fan neighbor across the street has NFL sunday ticket I sometimes go over there to watch games. Like I said, he's underated, and is never in the conversation of elite QB's but when you watch him play you realize how good he really is.

2 Very classy guys who are the true definition of team players.

I'd second that motion as well. Though, to be honest, I'm more of a fan of Brady than Bruschi.

Your age shows in every post I read of yours. Do you have anything to contribute to the topic or just come in here to bash what everyone says?

Im not questioning how much football you supposedly know. But if you are going to quote me and the only thing you can say about what I said is "they are scum bags". This isnt the high school message board, if you want to talk about what I had to say atleast say something with some substance.
