I Feel For You Guys

Having to put up with Pittsburgh fans twice a year or three times a year. Man they are sore losers, they think everything should go their way. They keep saying if Big Ben doesn't give us 21 points they win the game. They think we held alot too. I guess what goes around comes around for them after the Seahawks were cheated of the super bowl against them the first time. I hope you guys crush them next season, best wishes for the Ravens and their fans!

I hate the Steelers but what I hate more is the fact that our head coach can't defeat them at full strength. P.s. I wish my team had your QB. Believe me when I say he is the best young QB in the league. 2.5 concussions this year and winning the super bowl. Brady and Manning would of bowed out...

I hope your right. He is looking like the best qb in the league but I dont want to get too cocky yet. We will see what Rodgers does next season. I love the guy as our qb and hope he is here for the rest of his career. He proved me wrong in his ability to win big games too. You guys will get there. I think the key is getting by Pittsburgh. I think you guys can do that, we will root you guys on to kick their butts twice next season.

It is a uh interesting--dealing with them 3 times a year is cruel and unusual punishment as written in the Bill of Rights lol. We have one or two Steeler fans that hang here that are ok but Steeler week quadruples our work load.
Yes Oher is always holding and Harrison is held every play.

Jumped on the Packers bandwagon as soon as we got bounced from the playoffs and they didn't disappoint.

Rodgers is a beast. I thoroughly enjoyed the demolition of the Falcons and the melting of Matty Ice. And the Super Bowl was about the second best outcome it could have been.

If Ben doesn't throw two picks and Mendy doesn't fumble I say we win going away. Considering we lost by 6 and had 3 turnovers leading to 21 of your points. But hey, that's why they play.

How many of these "Steelers fans" have you actually had to deal with? I know that every single member of Steeler Nation that I spoke with was sad, but happy for the Packers. My personal feeling was that if we had to lose, at least it was to a classy organization with classy fans.

What assurances do we have that you're not one of the negative representatives of Packer Nation? They have their 10% of punks too. But as I said, for the most part, very upstanding group. Which one are you?

Congratulations BTW.

Well IF the Joe( and birk) didn't turn the ball over twice and if Ray Rice didn't fumble, we would be in the Super Bowl but like you said "thats why they play".

I never knew Harbaugh played in the Pittsburgh games. Must need my eyes checked, what number does he wear?

He was the one who dropped the pass in the endzone, blew the coverage on third and 19, threw a costly interception, snapped a ball into his leg, and fumbled the ball. Not one of his better games.

Wow, for some reason I thought the Head Coach was responsible for losses as well as wins. Guess im not a bias drone that will worship the ground he walks on for most of the season when he wins then when he loses a game blame execution but not the fact that he is 2-6 vs Pittsburgh and that our team seems to never make adjustments in the second half.

But yeah, Good point ATD

P.s. I have no Idea why Josh McDaniels and John Fox lost their jobs! they weren't the ones on the field losing games Just listen to yourself, hypocrites are the worst....

while both parties make good points, the bolded portion of the above alexir post is something that is all too common with fans, i have been a fan of my hockey team since i knew what hockey was, hell im canadian, pretty much over 20 years ive been a fan of them, yet i hate our goalie, and am highly critical of him becuz he has gotten us no further than other goalies, that other fans of my team would call a bum, and say was never as good as the current goalie, and i have been called a "hater" of my team, haha ya worshiped them my whole life, point is ppl drink the cool aid, we are fans of this team, we dont have to be fans of the players or coaches.

i didnt c too many ppl coming to cams defence these last few months/entire season, its kind of hypocritical to come to harbaughs on the exact same reference.

So was Harbaugh to blame for that Polamalu sack and strip? Or maybe that interception Joe threw in the divisional game? Or was he to blame for the shady (at best) conservative playcalling every time the team had a lead this season? Wait, nevermind, I'll just get something like "Well, he should have put the screws to Cam to change or have fired him". I'm sorry, but face it. When push came to shove, the Steelers have made plays to win those games, while our team committed mistakes and silly penalties.

McDaniels and Fox, really? Those are you examples? Fox's team had performed horribly ever since his playoff loss to the Cards in 2008 (You know, when the Panthers were 12-4, first in the division, and tied for second best record in the league). McDaniels, do I even need to explain this? 3-9 record, traded Hillis for Brady Quinn, traded their best tight end in Tony Scheffler, traded Marshall away, rubbed players the wrong way... oh yeah, and decided to follow in his mentor, Darth Belichick's, footsteps and video taped the Niners walk though. Let's not forget he then went on to lose that game.

But yeah, Harbaugh "losing" to the Steelers (a team that's had the Ravens' numbers for years) is definitely on par to those situations. If you want to blame him for the team losing to the Steelers, then he should get the credit for the team going to the playoffs three years in a row (something never done before in the history of the franchise) and having winning seasons for three consecutive years (something else never done before in the history of the franchise).

Do you like those points more?

No! This is what happens when the S word (Steelers) is brought up. =P

Hey, I'm just defending my points against obvious sarcasm and being called a "biased drone", worshiping the ground Harbs walks upon, and perhaps even being called a "hypocrite".

Pack are a great team/organization. I've never had a single problem with any of their decisions, even letting Favre go when he had said he would come back again. I was actually a supporter of that decision, because it was time to plan for the future, and I knew Rodgers would be a great Qb given the chance to perform. Steelers are a pretty classy organization as well, but I can't stand their "we're the best team in the league, and you all should bow down to us. And if we lose, its the refs fault, and if if if if......" That, to me, sounds like a bunch of whining. IF the 49ers took Rodgers they would have won the Super Bowl by now. IF John Elway stayed in Baltimore with the Colts, then the team may still be known as the Baltimore Colts. IF that had happened, we may have had Peyton Manning on our team. IF the Seahawks hadn't had horrid referees, then they would've beaten the Steelers in the Super Bowl. IF this, IF that....

How true, T-Ray. It is always something to play "What if" games, and yet, these games of "What If" can be a colossal waste of time.

The facts are that the Packers turned out to be a surprise from the number six seed, and that the Packers played a very good game, worthy of all admiration and enjoyment. I say this as one who appreciates the soprt of football, particularly professional football.

Actually, if you want to get down to it, he was responsible. He even said after the game that he talked to Cam about the play call and let what Cam wanted to do happen. Let's face it, it was a stupid, stupid, stupid play call for the situation, location on the field and length of time left in the game.
And, as HC, why would that not be an accurate statement? He is in charge of his coordinators after all. He never dealt with Cam and allowed the crap to continue unchecked all season long.

He does get credit for those things. All the time. By everyone. I find it odd that by your very last statement you make the posters' point. You want everyone to acknowledge those things as positives (which they are, and most everyone does) but then want the blame to fall elsewhere for his shortcomings.

It's hard to consider a short, quick pass on a 2nd & 5 a "stupid, stupid play call". If it had worked, if Oher would have impeded Polamalu even a split-second as he was supposed to, we very well may have had a first down and claimed the second seed in the AFC.
