Adam Terry Injured

Looks like it might be serious.

HERE is the original story.

HERE is an update from Preston.

We're screwed unless we can find someone on the FA market.

I am not one of the multitude of people on here that seem to despise Adam Terry but I gotta say I saw this one coming. He wasn't close to 100% at the beginning of camp and from what I understand he has been limping some before this anyway. We may end up moving Yanda (who did a decent job as a right tackle for a rookie last year) back outside since we are pretty deep on interior linemen but short on tackles. I know Gaither (if he will just stay on the field), Kracalik, and Cousins could all be solid tackles but all 3 are raw and inexperienced. There is really no one available on the market, so we may end up having to trade a 2nd round pick for next year or something for an experienced tackle.

Do we have Batman beacon for JO?

Its a gigantic hamburger, and boy does he come fast. The only problem is that the Goose also comes.

Hey, sometimes you need to clog arteries to clog running lanes.

Then afterwards he should just fall to the ground hoping the other person will trip over him.

Until now i havent been very critical of coach harbaugh, but now im starting to second guess the guy.. He really needs to take more pressure off of the guys.. I've seen multiple reporters stating they think harbaugh is over-working our players, and i agree with them.. Every day theres something new whether its a fight or an injury and im tired of it.. This season is going to turn into the same exact thing as last season.. This is just an early warning of whats to come..

You're questioning the coach 2 weeks into camp? And why should anyone take that sort of thing seriously? It's 2 weeks into camp. The boys have played football all of their lives. There is nothing going on at this camp that is more physical or strenuous than what goes on at other NFL camps around the league.

Everyday there is something new and you're tired of it, huh? Well, If you're tired be quiet and go to sleep. Let the man coach, let the players play, people get hurt all the time. It's football, not a tickling contest.

Nobody's questioning the coach, i just have a problem with how the practices are going.. We've had brawls that involve the whole team, Heap, Ngata, and Jarret Johnson fighting and all these injuries, but nothings wrong? Explain that to me.

There is nothing going on at this camp that is more physical or strenuous than what goes on at other NFL camps around the league.

So following your logic, every NFL coach runs his camp the exact same way huh? It sounds like you've been to every NFL training camp around the league..

Yes theres something new every day and i AM getting tired of it... I dont know about you, but i dont enjoy waking up hearing that more players from the Ravens are injured or that we've had an 85 person brawl, or that Heap punched Ngata in the face but it sounds like you do.. Nobody said this was a tickling contest, im just in awe over how many injuries we're having..

Oh and good luck to you at keeping me quiet..

Get your panties out of a bunch.. Its my opinion. Respect It.

Here are some rumors to help you all sleep at night. Word going around that we are in talks with JAX for one of 2 OTs. Richard Collier is 6'7 345 lbs. undrafted going into his 3rd season with very limited game time but shows a lot of promise and ready to start. He is a back up at RT behind our old friend Tony Pashos but could fight khalif Barnes for his spot at LT. Then there is Khalif Barnes who is going into the last year of his contract. He is 6'5 325 lbs. a 2nd round pick, has 3 yrs experience under his belt at LT (was good enough to start his rookie year). I think we are offering a 2nd round pick for whichever one we can get. I like this option better than signing 32 yr old John Welbourne. He seems sketchy to me and I think his personality won't fit well in Baltimore. Not to mention the Chiefs tied with the 49ers for a line that gave up the most sacks (55) in the entire NFL. Jacksonville always does fairly solid in pass bocking and can opens up holes with run blocking.

Suggs is my boy! He's a spectacular player and has pass rushing down to a science at a very young age (25), but where is his head and his heart right now? I'm hearing talks about a trade for Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald (maybe fluff or just wishful thinking). We can put Dan Cody or Barnes in his spot and I'm very confident they will thrive in our system (Who doesn't?)

The Wizard of Oz is trying to grant us as many wishes as we need. (I want Figurs to have courage, McGahee to have endurance, Boller to have a brain, Gaithers to have Ogden's brains, and the rest to have their HEALTH!)

It is the second week of camp, nothing is wrong yet.

So following your logic, every NFL coach runs his camp the exact same way huh? It sounds like you've been to every NFL training camp around the league..

Not at all what I meant. I meant alot, in fact the majority of NFL go 10 on 11 live at some point in practice, with tackling to the ground, and penalties being called by coaches. Did you watch the ESPN inside the Eagles camp special, where they even mentioned how infamous Andy Reid is for having ultra physical camps? No one said anything about how the Ravens are taking it too far. Nobody needs to. The boys need to toughen up before the year starts and so do you.

Get your panties out of a bunch.. Its my opinion. Respect It.

Your opinion is that our practices are too physical and you are tired of Harbaugh making our boys go hard and my panties are in a bunch? Respect it?

Look, you're on the wrong forum, you need to look up the one where player's mothers write in to Harbaugh and complain about how their son got hurt and it's the coaches fault. Injuries happen, respect that. Coaches don't get to coach NFL teams unless they know what they are doing, respect that. It's the second week of camp in a new coaching regime and folks are fighting for jobs, respect that.

Or go make a sign for the unfair treatment of millionaire football players and go protest at the practices.

Whatever you do, stay off the forums with that 'Coach is making them play too hard BS'.

Except for injuries to our players right? 85 person brawls right? We're going to most likely have some guys playing hurt during the season..

ESPNews had 2 guys on yesterday that said they were taking it too far! I've seen many reporters saying Harbaugh is going guns blazing..

Im sorry, who are you to tell me what forum to go to? And yes, you are right when you say injuries do happen.. Theres nothing not to agree with there, the problem i have is the frequency at which we're having them.. Upon reports and the fights, it just leads me to believe the camp is too strenuous.. We havent seen Harbaugh coach 1 game yet and you're saying he knows what hes doing? Look at Steve Spurrier he supposedly knew what he was doing but went 12-20 as an NFL head coach.. Not all NFL coaches know what they're doing.. Lou Holtz, Nick Saban.. The list goes on..

Or go make a sign for the unfair treatment of millionaire football players and go protest at the practices.

You've comprehended nothing I've said correctly.. I have NOTHING wrong with our players playing hard.. Problem is, if we have fights and 85 person brawls, hes not doing something right.. I understand the tension between some players when they play, but its up to our coaches to fix that..

Other way around. You didn't understand me:

Let the coach get through more than 2 weeks of camp before you start telling everyone he's doing his job wrong. There are always fights in camp. Always. Every team. They were talking about how common it's become when they mentioned the Steve Smith/Ken Lucas fight that happened yesterday. BTW, they said nothing of Heap and Ngata, because it was not a big deal. Neither of them got hurt, the only person that got hurt was you. QQ.

Nothing is wrong. The only players that are really hurt are OTs and they are hurt because injuries happen. We'll grab someone else who will probably be a better player anyway. Nothing is wrong.

Seriously, not trying to say anything other that what I'm asking, but did you ever play football (pop warner doesn't count)? I was taught the golden rule of practice is and always has been this; Play hard, play through the whistle, protect yourself. The minute you drag a** is the minute you get hurt, because you're dragging as and some guy that wants your spot isn't. You let off, you lose intensity; you get hurt.

OL are a little different, most of the time OL get hurt in camp is because they are out of shape, TBH.

All the guys you mentioned have one thing in common: all came directly from NCAA football to NFL football with no grace period. No adjustment period, and all were consider offensive minded college coaches. Does anything I just described to you fit the background of Harbaugh? Harbaugh has been in the NFL. He knows what he's doing. It may mean nothing to you, but I think if you are a successful position coach, and Ozzie thinks that you're worth a shot, then I think you're worth a shot, and 2 weeks of camp doesn't constitute a shot.

Nothing is wrong. Half the guys showed up expecting 'Club Billick' and weren't ready to go. Blame them, not the coach.

Look Redreed, im done going back and forth with you.. You've stated your opinion and i respect it.. I've stated mine.. Last word doesnt matter to me, you can have it.. Ill believe what i want to whether it be right or wrong and you can believe what you want.. I dont have a problem with you, you're a Ravens fan and thats all that matters on here.. Im not trying to get into an online "fight" with someone I've never seen.. Its not me and as long as we see eye-to-eye on which football team we support, so be it..
