Just finished week 2's Kenpo....I am definitely seeing a difference already.
During Kenpo, I aim my punches right at the tv and pretend I'm punching Tony Horton in the face. It makes me punch harder.

You don't have a door at your home?
The only door near the tv is the front door. And I don't trust any of the door frames upstairs.

Got my 12 DVD's (not 13) and it didn't come with the Nutrition Book like it was supposed to. ;-(

I may buy the nutrition book separate and start the program next week.

You can get the nutrition book as a downloadable PDF online. No sense in purchasing it again if you've already paid for it!

In the middle of week 5 and I can say "Chest, Shoulders and Triceps" is the real deal!

Midway thru week 3 I had dropped about 6-7 pounds (down to about 190), but am now up to about 195 which can only mean thing! More muscle!!!!

This is tough, though.

Day 1 -

Shoulders and Back - Sore and tired like I should be. loved it.

AB X - Yea, not ready for that one. That is by its self one of the best ab workouts I have ever seen. However, I've going to do what I know (Crunches, etc. morning and night) until I've lost the gut.

Nutrition Program - Awesome. So much more easy and enjoyable than I could have imagined.

Overall - LOVE IT!!!!

Almost done week 6 and back/biceps is my favorite! Its the glamour muscles and I've noticed a huge change in my definition and weights/reps. Started 6 weeks ago curling 25 lbs at 10-12 reps and now I'm at 35 lbs at about 8 reps each. Towards the end of week 3, I had last about 6 lbs and now I'm back to 195. That can only mean one thing......MORE MUSCLE!

Thats nuts!! Nicely done....

If I had that much to lose, I think P90X would have taken care of it as well, but I'm 6'3", so 195 is right where I want to be, weight wise. I would just like to swap out an additional 8-10 lbs of fat for muscle.

I was SOOOO sore this morning I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do Arms and Shoulders, but I surprised myself and did the entire thing and the bonus round. Still not ready for AB X though. I'm doing my own abs every morning and night until I am ready.

I LOVE this program so far though. I think I'm most surprised at how easy and enjoyable the nutrition plan is. I'm eating like a king and it's all healthy stuff.

I will say, I am not doing the nutrition plan. I have, however, started to watch what I eat more often and I'm eating more chicken and fish than I ever have. I also drink a shake of milk, banana, chocolate powder and one or two eggs (depends on what kind of mood I'm in) each evening.

Leave for our annual Nags Head (multi family) beach trip the end of May, so gotta keep this up!!

I'm not following it precisely, but I am using it as a guide. I bought a protein shake and some creatine (doing first month cycle only). I have egg white egg beaters and eat lots of fruits, veggies, chicken and fish. I treated myself to some lean steak and cut it into small individual portions for freezing.

I'm also experimenting with using plain Special K as a bread crusting for fish and an egg white wash. Added a little Parmesan cheese in the breading as well. YUM YUM!

I have 1% cottage cheese (1 cup) with either blue berries or fresh pineapple as a snack too. I could go on as the options are endless. Oh yea, lots of salads too.

I hear ya, I'm getting married July 9th, so I need to get fit for that reason as well as overall health.

Yea, I have a good bit more to go..thats for sure. I may give it a try once I loose about another 15lbs. I've been working on being more flexiable. That and a LOT of CARDIO. At least for me. I've been averaging about 45-60 mineutes 5x per week (Treadmil, eliptical, stationary bike). I'm working my way up on the treadmil. I'm doing a 5.0 incline at about 5-6.5mph but I can only do it right now for about a 5 or so minute burst. Endurance is getting better. Legs are MUCH thinner and MUCH stronger. I squatted 385 yesterday for a 8.
