Best Crab Cake In The Area

a post got me wondering what every ones opinion was of the best crab cake in the area.

With out question G&M in Linithicum over by the air port, is the best crab cake I have ever had.

Granted I have NOT tried them all.

In Ocean City, MD. I gotta go with The Crab Cake Factory. They have awesome Crab Cakes there. If your in town stop by and check em out, they are located at 120th street. Also, The Crab Cake Factory is a Ravens hangout in Ocean City. They have a Raven's bus, that they take to the Raven's games.

I've gotten to absolutely love Batemann's. I swear there is no (noticeable) filler in them and the lumps are huge.

as tradition my family visits OC every thanksgiving weekend.

I will put that place on my list for this years visit.

I trust they have a kids menue with itmes other than crab cakes.

I have heard the Crab Cake Factory is amazing AND an HUGE Ravens Maryland Bar, But I have only had breakfast there and I will vouch for that

Yea, I have never looked into the kids menu there, but I am sure they have food there for kids. Most likely, Chicken Tenders, Hot Dogs, Burgers that sort of thing. They mainly have "Pub food", but its all really good and pretty much made from scratch. Other then their Crab Cakes, I can tell you that they have awesome Cheese Steaks as well, they won the 2008 Ocean City Cheese steak award. Also, they have a good Carolina pulled pork sandwich. But I still highly recommend the Crab Cake Sandwich from there, they won a bunch of awards for that as well in Ocean City. Most of their sandwich entries come with fresh home made chips that are fantastic as well.

MAN that is the ONE thing I think I miss the most about not being in Maryland (sorry family)...OK...the one FOOD item I miss from Maryland...

I have never tried the G&M crab cakes but I had a friend that worked in the government facility nearby and she swore by the things!

I have to ask my parents about the Crab Cake factory...I believe their place in OC is close by...

My sister just sent us a "Maryland Care Package" full of Country Kitchen salt water taffy, Utz's crab chips, Tasty Cakes, and Bergers cookies...God bless her!

Not essentially just crab cakes, but La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in Columbia makes magnificent crab burritos. Just pure joy.

That is a pretty essential kit of good eating.

Sweet. Were roughly from the same hood, though im technically Severn. BTW I hate the Wawa ever since one of their sandwiches made me violently ill. Guess I shouldve gone to Hellas that night lol.

I like Olive Grove in Linithicum by the airport. G&M's is probably about the same.

Timeout sports grille in westminster has AWESOME crab cakes.. & NO i dont just say that because I used to work there.. lol

As many times as I have been to OC MD I have never been to the Crab Cake Factory.
