He signed a pretty big contract, which should make the chances slim to none that Nnamdi will be back with the Raiders.

They definitely overpaid him, but statistically, he was tied with Nnamdi in terms of the least completion percentage with 39.4. Asomugha gave up 13 completions on 33 attempts and Routt surrendered 39 in 99 attempts. In fact, opposing QBs have an average QB rating of 69.0 when passing at Stanford, compared to 66.2 when throwing in Nnamdi's area. That's pretty impressive. But I'm certain that he would've taken much less. They made him one of the highest paid CBs, made Seymour the highest paid Defensive player, and are now giving $10 million to Wimbley. I hope for their sake that Asomugha just isn't interested in returning, because they definitely had the money to keep him.

Routt has a soft spot in my heart.. My last name is Rout, and last I checked, there were only 214 of us in the country! I like to think he just mispelled his last name and is really related to me haha

I like Routt and all, but to say they over payed for him would be an understatement.

Typical Oakland move.

Imagine how much JJ might want now after this deal..
[/quote]

He might want big money, but Ozzie probably won't give him big money.

Oh great now we can hear more about the unrealistic possibility of him coming to Baltimore. :34853_doh:

LOL best post in this topic. I'm with you 100% on that opinion. But before I go off on another frustrating rant about it, I say let Washington go over their salary cap to get him.
