What about Lions fans, Saints fans or even Rams fans? They (mainly Lions fans) have dealt with absolute HORROR for so long and they stay committed. But boardwise, definitely us.

I'll give ya Lions fans, but Saints fans have had some hope here and there. Rams fans though, the only one's I'm giving credit to are the ones who still reside in Los Angeles.

And if we're going to go this route, we may as well include Browns fans.

Well over this side of the pond there are more Patriots fans then anything else, On the rare occasion i do see another NFL Jersey its useually a Pats one. And the Dolphins seem quite popular aswell. I think alot of British fans seem to stick to which ever team plays in the international game at wembely because we try and support the "Home" team as much as we can as we understand they sacrifice so much by giving up one of there home games.

Ravens fans are very few and far between, Probably the least supported team.

That's outrageous!! I need to become a Baltimore missionary and spread the word of our beloved Ravens! The UK will be purple after I'm done with it.

This side of the Atlantic it's nearly all Patriots fans. Some Dolphins fans after that.
Huge amount of bandwagoners on the Patriots.
Some Steelers fans with the whole Dan Rooney and Ireland connection, there was talk of the Steelers coming to Ireland for a pre season game

I read a lot of different team forums and this is by far the best.

However...lets face it the Ravens are not a massive and fashionable name like the Cowboys or 49'ers or others.
There are Ravens fans over here but not so many. On the plus side, the international crew are fairly active here and have a website, forum and facebook and chat away among themselves during games. If you're an international Raven fan, you're here for the team, not the bandwagon :)

That's not representative of all our fans. Alexir just mentioned Ravens fans pulling immature crap like that as well.
Without a doubt, and I'm aware of our fans probably having done that too, but this was just personal experience. Every team has these kind of hooligan fans.

My son had a beer thrown in his face a few years ago in SD vs the Ravens because he was wearing a Shannon Sharpe jersey and a co-worker of mine had beaten to a pulp at the Vet in Philly just for wearing a Redskins jersey so there are thugs for every team.

I hardly see nfl jerseys here in Austria, the only time I remember, was at a local baskatball game, some guy was wearing a ray lewis jersey.

By the way it's kind of nice that you guys are supporting the home team at wembley, british gentlemen.

Sounds like an outstanding place to live.

This also confirms that Dave (of Milton Keyenes) is a little Rebel. haha

Really? I went to Cleveland this Christmas for a game with my g/f and brother and all we got was a little verbal beaking. It was nothing outlandish alot of homosexual rants though for some reason. Maybe it was too cold for the Browns fans to get after us that much, but we had jerseys on without jackets, my brother and I were wearing Ravens toques(beanies for Americans lol). I couldn't imagine having someone lay hands on me or my brother in that situation though with my g/f beside us.

After the Packers game, I got some light ribbing by the fans. Although, this was usually followed with "I'm just kidding. If anyone is giving you trouble, you come find me."

And here was me thinking I was one of like 5 Ravens fans in the entirety of the UK.

I was surprised it was so easy to get tickets to our game against the Falcons this year, but after seeing their supporters come in late, leave early and them cut off Deion Sanders halfway through his Ring of Honor induction speech it all started to make sense. Maybe it had something to do with White cheating to win, though.

I was wearing a Flacco jersey and got a lot of "We found out who the ONLY real QB was in that class!". It was fun annoying them by bringing up Matty "Ice"'s playoff record. I was rofling all the way through their playoff decimation by the Packers - who I think probably have the best fans.

Then maybe we should define "Best."

We are certainly one of the most recognized world wide.

Living in England, I can tell you that by far and away the most popular team here are the Pats.

Something that we can all agree on is that this isn't the mark of true support though.

Another thing we can all agree on is that the Pats following is a fairly recent phenomena. Never-the-less, I'm sure if you look around, you'll find the Steelers and the Cowboys at the top of any list regarding popularity (support/fans) and American Football.

Yea, I thought that was a bit strange too. Can't beat 'em, join 'em?

Okay, that was wrong.

Well the ravens scored a TD, and I stood up from my seat to celebrate, and apparently i accidentally puffed a guy on his shoulder (Cleveland fan) and he punched me square in the face.

True
But what's also weird is the Superbowl winners calling themselves World Champions of the National Football League.
Always though that was a bit funny :)

Too hard to define "best" in this situation.

Team support: They always say that Steeler fans travel the best but do they really? Or is it simply that having that large bandwagon fan base there are simply Steeler fans around everywhere? Hard to say. (same goes for the Cowboys).

As a visiting fan: Let's face it, every fan base is going to have its "thugs". That leaves this almost completely to chance. Did you sit by the respectful fans or were you stuck in the "thug" section?

Knowledgeable fans: Again, every fan base has its mix. Simply depends on who you wind up debating.

Myself, despite the fact that "best" is hard to define, I have to go with Detroit, Buffalo and Cleveland. Why? Their teams have been sub par for so long and yet, while being realistic about their team's talent, they remain loyal.
