Scott might not be back til Thursday.

The Good:
Tillman, Britton and Pie have played great so far. Cancels the bad out.
B-Rob is producing.
Most of our young guys are playing well.
We got a day off tomorrow.
Buck.
Berken and the Closers.
46,000 at Camden Yards

The Ugly:
Bergeson will start Wednesday.
Vlad's swing.
Jone's impersonation of Vlad's swing

4-0 without Matusz and without Guerrero, Jones or Lee really producing any runs or hits for that matter... Wieters and the pitching staff have been phenomenal thus far... B-Rob is hogging all of the RBIs for himself lol... Markakis is smoking hot right now.... I can't wait until Friday night's game pinning Britton against the vaunted Rangers offense; that will be a test!

How long do you think the 46,000 fans part will last? I hope we get a full house as long as we are deserving of it. I hope a 4-0 start doesn't warrant another halfass crowd like usual.

ok, this was the most epic Orioles opening day I have ever been to. The weather was perfect by gametime, and it was HOT! I have never heard camden yards so loud before when they introduced Buck, WOW. The whole day was just amazing. one of those days at the yard you dont forget. everyone stood on there feet when Brian smacked that ball out into center field, the place erupted.

Bergy has an opportunity to solidify himself as our 5th starter once one is needed, and I hope he does.

Yep I agree, plus we need Blue Jays to lose as well so they aren't 1 game behind us. I do love seeing the AL East Standings... or at least looking at the last place team..

Who cares.... let them keep talking about "What Boston can do to turn things around" or "Can Boston still make the playoffs", and other things around Baseball, we'll just keep winning and not worry about the media attention.

We do the same thing with the Ravens, people say they like the Ravens being under the Radar but yet people go, why aren't they talking about the Ravens? I see the same pattern here, some will say Why aren't they talking about the O's while some like me will say keep us under the radar.

Agreed. I totally expected a loss with Bergy going up against Verlander, a bona fide Ace... our hitting needs A LOT of work. We're still tied for 1st though

Here's to bouncing back in the rubber game tomorrow. I'm curious to see what Tillman has in store for Round 2.
