I like the fight I'm seeing. From what I heard, we rested our best players yesterday vs Detroit to be well equipped to end the Sox season.

The Chowds are in total meltdown..no one better to send them home than the worst team in baseball as stated by ESPN.

Yea..what is up with all of that rain anyway? I remember summers being drought stricken. I am sure Red Sox nation will be on edge tonight.

Man, that was an entertaining game. I sure would like for Greek Nick to actually come through in the clutch...

How is it they we give up homeruns to rookies all the time, a lot in which get their first HR's against us.... SAD!.

This is probably the most significant win during this 14-year losing streak.... hopefully this can propel us to better things next season. Maybe even attract a free agent or two?

With 14 straight losing seasons it sure does feel good to stick it to the Red Sox. The only thing better would have been if it was the Yankees.

The Orioles have the bats for the most part. 2nd base is still an issue with Brian Roberts' health issues and Robert Andino, although a great utility infielder and a decent bat, not an everyday starter in my opinion.

Beating a dead horse here but the O's just need pitching and the possibility of this team turning things around goes up exponentially.

100% true. Maybe need one more power bat and some pitching. Heres to hoping Tillman, Matuez, Britton, Arrieta, or someone figures it out.

The Orioles have been floundering in pitching for a long time. Few people from the minors pan out and any free agents they lure here suck. See Kris Benson as a prime example.

I don't know, Andino grew up a lot this season. Dude's got swag. He grew into a pretty good hitter. But I also liked Ryan Adams for the short time he played. I agree though, 2nd is a huge ? mark. So is left field, honestly. Reimold needs some consistency if he wants to stay up.

Roberts is done... what a waste of talent and money.

I actually really like Reimold. You are right consistency is an issue for him, but he is a decent defensive outfielder and his power is for real. He could easily put up 30 HR in a season. We could do a lot worse than Reimold, Jones, Markakis.

I like Andino to, but he still makes some dumb mistakes. He is definitely coming around as a hitter though. I'm not sure if Roberts has another season in him and even if he does he is a player in decline. I am more worried about 3B to be honest, Reynolds defense there is awful and I am not sold on Chris Davis either.

Then there is pitching. What a disaster. Tons of potential and know one steps up except Jim Johnson. I think we have 2-3 serviceable starters between Britton, Arrietta, Tilman, Matusz, Hunter, Simon, and Bergesen. Its sad that none of them have been able to consistently perform.

I liked what Bobby Andino and Reimold have done for us! Andino is very capable with the glove, he might very well be our second basemen. I personally think he has the pop in the bat to hit close to 20 jacks. Reimold has just now gotten about 700 at bats... He's a solid player and he's very good in the clutch. I will never really understand why he wasn't the everyday left fielder?!

So, will Luke be back next year? Will Weiters continue the power stroke? Most importantly , which of the young guns will really step up and who do we bring in as a Vet pitcher? We really need a number 1.

Britton and Arrietta seemed to be the most promising and Simon has over-powering stuff.
